Every morning Miss Florence came to Francis and Victoria's room trying to pry Johnathan from Victoria's arms. But Victoria didn't budge. Her excuse every morning was that her own mother raised her fine so she wants to do the same for her son. To which Miss Florence would tell her that her mother wasn't the Queen and Victoria in a quick fashion said her father thought she was a Queen. Usually making Miss Florence laugh slightly and shake her head leaving Victoria with Johnathan.

However , today it didn't work. Miss Florence's patience was wearing thin as the court pressured her to pry the baby from Victoria. Since , a Queen was meant to be by the side of Francis helping him to run the family ready for the Crown wars in less than two years. Victoria had other ideas about what her job entailed. After the court took control of her life making her marry Francis before they were ready and a baby being thrown into the mix shortly after she wanted to regain some form of control on her life. Which is to look after her own son. Bond with him. Watch him take his first steps , say his first words. It was a special thing for Victoria. It was one of the last normal connections she had with her mother. The common connection of mothers and Victoria didn't want the court to also take that from her after everything she had been through.

"Victoria please. The court threatened to take House Demure out of the running if you fail to comply with what they want." Miss Florence says and Victoria shakes her head she rocks Johnathan in his cot.

"I want you to call on Gulliver please Miss Florence." Victoria states turning away from Johnathan for a moment

"Why?" Miss Florence questioned

"I will not speak to you about where Johnathan goes until I speak to him." Victoria answers and Miss Florence sighs and turns towards to the door as Victoria shuts the curtains of the room so Johnathan can nap for a while.

"Victoria. I know you mean well. But you do realise that getting Gulliver will make this situation a bigger problem then it already is." Miss Florence says and Victoria turns to her.

"I want Gulliver. He holds the most power in this game and I will not allow my baby to be taken from me to be looked after by another woman until he is old enough to talk , walk and run the family himself." Victoria explains in a calm and serious tone making Miss Florence leave quickly to go and get Gulliver.

This was going to be the first battle Victoria was going to win as Queen and no one was going to stop her. She was not about to let her baby be taken from her so she can get on with her Queenly duties as if she hadn't just given birth to him.
