The attack went into the night as the military tried their best to keep back the attackers. Victoria kept Johnathan in her arms all that night. Francis spent the night pacing up and down the bedroom as Victoria slept peacefully with Johnathan in her arms. His little finger wrapped round one of hers as the fires and the shouting was still in full force outside. But suddenly as dawn began to break and the sun started to appear in the sky it all turned around for House Demure. They began to fight back against the attackers slowly pushing them back out of the north gate and away from the house. Francis watched anxiously as the military pushed them back hoping the attackers would not have one last push to get into the house. Which thankfully they didn't.

Once the house was finally secure Francis and Victoria went down for breakfast to try and take their mind off of the restless night they had. Francis sipped his tea as Miss Eva poured Victoria a glass and told them their breakfasts would be ready in the next five minutes. They both smiled warmly at her as she went back to the kitchen. The two sat in silence as they drank their teas both visibly sleep deprived from last night. Miss Eva brought in Victoria's porridge and placed it in front of her going over to Francis placing his down in front of him also.

"if there is anything else you want your majesties do not hesitate to ring the bell." Miss Eva said and they both nodded

"Thank you Miss Eva." Victoria said as they began to eat the porridge.

"We need to fix the north side." Francis says as he places his spoon down.

"Where are we going to get the funds to replace the north side gate and the grounds in front of it?" Victoria asked and Francis sighed

"That is what I was hoping you would know the answer to." Francis said and it was Victoria's turn to sigh as she took another spoonful of her porridge.

"We might have to ask the council to grant us some money as I know our foreign relations will not give the financial aid early." Victoria said and Francis shook his head.

"The council are corrupt darling. We will have to make it another way." Francis says as he takes another sip of his tea.

"I could sell Johnathan's old clothes and toys he has grown out of and my old jewels and old dresses to make some money then. Everyone would want a piece of royalty." Victoria suggests and Francis thinks about it placing his tea cup back down.

" That is not a bad idea at all we will just have to get the all clear from the council to do so." Francis says and Victoria sighs.

"But you just said they are corrupt. why can't we do it without their consent." Victoria suggests and Francis rubbed his face with his hand.

"You are not going to take no for an answer now are you?" Francis asked and Victoria shook her head giggling to herself as she took a sip of her tea.

"To repairing the north side gate and grounds surrounding it that were ruined." Francis said lifting his tea cup in the air to toast with Victoria

"To repairing the grounds of House Demure to its former glory." Victoria said and lifted her tea cup in the air and the pair took a sip of their drinks.
