"Are you serious?", Perrie asked and swallowed. Leigh nodded and Perrie let out a frustrated groan. "How come everytime something good happens, something else happens and ruins the moment?"
"Perrie-"
"No! I can't believe it..", Perrie whispered.
"Perrie!"
"What?", the blonde asked.
Leigh sighed, "I saw what happened. You were talking for a very long time at the bar and you both seemed really into each other.." Perrie nervously bit her lip. "Then you went up to the dancefloor and one thing happened after another and she kissed you. I don't know what made her do it, but she wouldn't do it just she feels like it."
"And.. What did I do?", Perrie asked. She was scared.
Leigh-Anne took a deep breath, "You kissed her back. She pulled away and it seemed like she apologized, but you kissed her again, 'till.. She pulled away and ran away. She didn't want to take advantage of you, - I could see that."
A little smile appeared on Perrie's face, but it fell as soon as Zayn popped into her mind.
"I can't let my feelings grow for her, Leigh. And not because I don't want to - I do, - but Zayn.. I've been in love with him for over four years and we finally get a second chance, also, she's his cousin. I can't get between their family bond, besides.. Zayn is the safer choice.", Perrie explained before putting her head in her hands.
Leigh stood up and hugged Perrie tightly, "You're scared, aren't ya?"
Perrie nodded slightly, "If.. If I start acting on those feelings , and - in case Jade and I would ever become a thing, - I let my feelings develope into something serious, I don't think I would handle this change. Our image would be ruined, and we'd get more hate than before.."
"I'm sorry babe, but..", Leigh let go of her, "You already are a thing."

THAT NIGHT
After Jade left Perrie on the dance floor and went to the bathroom, she went back to the bar. Or at least, she wanted to. That was before she saw Perrie and Zayn together at the bar. The blonde beauty was snuggled up to him and you could see her smile slightly. Zayn stroke her hair out of her face. He did it so gently, it literally hurt Jade seeing that. The brunette instantly regretted leaving Perrie on the dance floor. If she'd have stayed.. Who knows what could have happened.
Jade took her jacket and left the club. Outside of the club, she could see Jesy and Leigh-Anne. It seemed like they were waiting for a taxi.
"Jade?", Leigh asked. She sounded surprised. Jade turned around and gave Leigh a slight smile, even though she had to fake it because she was still heartbroken about what she just saw.
Leigh furrowed her eyebrows, "You're already heading home?"
"Yeah, why shouldn't I? Big day tomorrow.", Jade explained.
Leigh bit her bottom lip, "I actually thought you and Perrie.."
"Well.. The girl never wins. Especially, not against someone who already had her heart once. I thought a dream was coming true, - Guess it was supposed to be a dream that only lasted for a minute.", Jade said heartbroken. Leigh didn't hesitate, she quickly hugged Jade tight.
"She'll come around. Give her time.", Leigh whispered into Jade's ear.
After they broke the hug, Jade nodded and gave Leigh a slight smile before heading home.
