Jade was about to be the next one on stage. It was this week's live show and she had to give everything. This may sound rude, but she really wanted to kick one of Simon's guys out. They were only six candidates and this week was really important to every single one of them. Perrie kept acting weird the whole week, - which distracted Jade a lot. Zayn and Perrie didn't meet up as often as they used to and the media already put some weird rumours into the world. Some of them also said a 'Source' had seen Perrie cheating on Zayn, which totally wasn't true. Jade sometimes thought about what it'd be like if things like that would happen to her someday. She wouldn't know what to do. Perrie didn't care. She knew what was the truth and what wasn't. Zayn and Perrie were completely honest to each other, for the most time at least. Perrie hadn't tell him about her feelings for Jade, but Perrie also asked herself why she should do that? Jade and Perrie had no future, at least Perrie thought so, so Perrie thought it wouldn't be necessary to tell him. Perrie decided that being with Zayn was the best thing for now. They just got back together, she couldn't just break up with him. And in some ways she still loved it, she just wasn't in love with him anymore. Perrie knew that it was wrong to pretend like she was, but she wanted to focus on the competition first before she was going to clear things in her private life. Jade took a deep breath before heading out to the stage. She was going to perform a ballad this week. How ironic, Jade thought. The brunette knew this one was going to be hard. She was nervous and she could feel the pressure on her and the thought of singing a ballad now in front of Perrie didn't make it easier. Jade knew if she was going to look at Perrie just once in her performance, she'd fail. And that's the least thing she wanted to do. Jade got in her start position and closed her eyes. She took one last deep breath before she started her performance. What Perrie didn't know was, that Jade changed her song with the help of Leigh-Anne. A ballad which would turn into a power ballad. Originally, Jade was going to sing "Side by Side" by Ariana Grande, but Leigh helped her to find the right song which would describe her and Perrie's situation really well.

Perrie's eyes widened in surprise. This wasn't the song she chose for Jade. Perrie looked over at Leigh who just mouthed "Listen to the lyrics". The blonde nodded and layed back in her chair. She closed her eyes and let it all come in. Jade's voice was magical. And the fact that Jade sang this on purpose, made Perrie feel.. Happy and sad at the same time, if that was possible.

Suddenly, Jade's gaze swung over to Perrie. The brunette was so happy that Perrie closed her eyes. But the moment she sang "Baby let's be in love.." Perrie opened her eyes. Nothing happened, Jade just kept going, but Perrie and Jade were staring at each other. One tear was streaming down from Perrie's cheek. They were in their own world. Perrie didn't know what was happening, but she and Jade made a connection. They always had one, but her performance kinda.. Brought them together? If you could say it that way.

The stage lights went off and the whole crowd started to cheer. This was Jade's best performance ever, even Jade knew that. Perrie wipped her tears quickly away 'till the studio lights went on again. Perrie stood up and clapped her hands. The crowd did the same thing. Even Leigh and Simon did it. Jade was overwhelmed and smiling so hard. She truly was happy. Jade just hoped it was enough to get into the next round.

"Wow! What was THAT?", the moderator said enthusiastically. Jade chuckled and the crowd cheered even louder than before. "Jade, that was amazing. Great performance!"

"Thank you.", Jade smiled. "I feel like.. This was the moment I finally found myself."

The moderator nodded, "I think so too. Let's see what the Judges think."

Perrie had to start and the blonde beauty wasn't really sure what to say, "If I'm being honest.. I'm really, really proud and I'm just so speechless. I don't know what to say, except that I knew from the moment I saw you Jade, I knew you were a special one and that you'd go far, keep being you. This was perfect and-" Perrie started to cry a little, which made the blonde giggle a little, "Sorry, I just love magical voices." 

Everyone 'awwed' and Jade kept staring at Perrie who was trying not to keep crying. Jade did it. She didn't want to make Perrie cry, she just wanted to clear things up by singing that song, and Jade did it. She was so happy.

"Perfect. Your vocals were on point, your performance was absolutely crazy, your outfit is cute.. I just love everything about you, Jade. I know I wasn't that fond of you at the beginning, but I gotta say.. Perrie, you were right. This one right there is already a star. Call for Jade Thirlwalls!", Leigh said, shouting the last sentence which made the crowd scream again. Perrie and Leigh smiled at each other.

Now it was Simon's turn. "I'm just gonna say one thing.. Boys, watch out. Team Perrie has a lot of Girl Power." Jade jumped happily up and down. Perrie gazed at Jade with a smile. She's so cute, Perrie thought. She was feeling good for the first time after a few days. Maybe there was still hope for her and Jade. Only time could tell.

I finally put a live show into a chapter, hahaha. I know nothing really happened here, not much dialog but more meta stuff, sorry :DD But I promise you the next few Chapters will be Jerrie AF. But don't forget, Zayn's still in the picture. There might be only 6 Chapters left till the story is over, so a lot is going to happen.
