16 | "Because I love her."

It was 7 o'clock in the morning. The sun was shining and it seemed like everything was turning out the way it was supposed to be. Perrie and Jade were still asleep. They didn't do anything last night, - except maybe a little make-out session. They actually just talked all night while watching movies 'till they fell asleep. Perrie didn't want to do anything stupid 'till she'd talk to Zayn, - even though she did something stupid already. She cheated on him with Jade. His cousin. The blonde wasn't sure how to feel about that. With Jade, she was happy and care-free. Maybe it was because Jade was not only her 'almost girlfriend', but her best friend too. Or maybe it was because she never felt this way with Zayn and now she was questioning their whole relationship and what they used to have a few years ago. Perrie knew she has to end things in a peaceful way, but she also knew that this was probably impossible now after what she did. The situation was new for both of them - Jade and Perrie. Even though they have had feelings for each other for a long time, everything was still very new for them.

Last Night

"Jade? Can we talk for.. A minute?", Perrie asked nervously. Jade just nodded and turned the volume of the tv down. The brunette gave Perrie a look that told her she should continue. "What happened today was.. Amazing. Absolutely breathtaking and it was like we were in our own world." That made Jade smile. "But..", Perrie added and Jade's happy face turned into a concerned one. "This is reality.. What do we do now? What are we and what am I supposed to tell Zayn? He's your family and I don't want to destroy that, but I also don't wanna hide what you and I have. Help me..", she explained while playing nervously with her fingers and staring at them.

Jade took Perrie's hand gently and intertwined her with hers. Perrie raised her head and looked into Jade's eyes.

"You're not going to destroy anything Perrie. I had these feelings for you way before you. He's gonna blame me for everything, no matter what you tell him. Don't worry about it."

"And you don't care about losing him?", Perrie asked slightly shocked.

"Of course I do. But the moment I knew this", Jade pointed at their hands, "was going to be something serious, I accepted it. It's not easy, but I can take it."

"Why?"

"Because you're my family now, Perrie. I don't know how this will end, but I know it'll end with you and me. You're my family and that's why it's worth the risk.", Jade told her. Nobody has ever said something like this to Perrie, which is why it made her tear up a little. She was just so happy and grateful to have Jade by her side. She's definitely a keeper.

"Why are you crying, sweetheart?", Jade asked gently. "I didn't mean to make you cry."

"It's just.. No one has ever cared enough to say something like this to me.", Perrie smiled and hugged Jade tight. "Thank you, Jade. For everything.", Perrie said after the hug.

Jade kissed her cheek gently before they layed down on Perrie's bed. Perrie cuddled up to Jade and they continued watching the movie until they fell asleep.

Jade was still holding Perrie in her arms. Perrie was snuggled up to Jade and "The Beauty & The Beast" was still playing on the TV since they did a Disney marathon last night. Jade wanted to and Perrie couldn't say 'no' to Jade.

Perrie was the first one to wake up. She smiled instantly the moment she felt Jade's arms around her. Perrie could imagine waking up like this everyday. The blonde didn't want to stand up right away, but she was hungry and the only way to get to the kitchen was to stand up and go there. She slowly loosed herself and stood up. The blonde took one last look at Jade before she turned the TV off and turned the small TV in the kitchen on. Then she started to make breakfast for her and Jade. The news were on the TV right now. But it wasn't typical news, it was the channel for gossip and what was currently happening in the celebrity world. They mostly talked crap, but Perrie always watched it in case they would talk about Little Mix or her in general. They did it when Zayn and her broke up and they said some nasty things about their relationship.
