7 | "I told you I love you."

AT THE STUDIO

"Leigh? Leigh?!" Perrie had been searching for Leigh-Anne for about twenty minutes already and she still couldn't find her. She needed to know what happened yesterday before Leigh and Jesy left. Maybe Leigh knew something. She needed to know something or Perrie would go crazy.

Perrie wanted to know if the hickey was from Zayn or.. Someone else. It could only be from Zayn, right? Perrie thought. Her head still hurt, even after she took a pill against her headache. Perrie couldn't imagine having a one-night-stand with some random stranger, she wasn't like that, so it must've been Zayn. Who else?

Jade. 

Perrie instantly threw that thought out of her mind. It couldn't be Jade. Perrie would not have let that happen, even if she was drunk as hell. Jade meant too much for her. The blonde wouldn't just do that. The whole night at the club was still such a blur. Perrie still couldn't remember a thing. The last thing she knew was that she was at the dance floor, dancing with Zayn, and then went up to Jade where they were talking for a long time. But she didn't know when Leigh and Jesy left, she didn't know where she got that hickey from and she had no idea how much alcohol she drank. 

Perrie let out a sighed because she still couldn't find Leigh. The blonde went back into her dressing room. She had to discuss next week's theme and what song's her contestants will sing, or wanted to sing. That's why she was meeting up with them in about ten minutes. Just then Perrie realized that Leigh was probably doing the same thing with her groups, which is why Perrie couldn't find her. Perrie also realized that she was about to see Jade in a few minutes and she wasn't sure how to act around her now.  

After about eight minutes, Perrie made her way to the stage, because that's where she'd meet up with her three girls. Andrea, Lauren and Jade were already waiting for her. They all gave her a slight smile as she arrived. Perrie returned it.

"Hey, guys!", Perrie said excited. They returned it. Andrea mouthed a "You okay?" and Perrie nodded in her direction. Of course she'd ask, Perrie thought, after she brought me home last night, it was totally normal for her to ask how I was doing. 

"Okay.", Perrie started, "The theme for this week is.. Let's say something different, but very interesting for all of us at the same time. You will have to perform a song of your mentor. Which means in this case, you'll have to master a Little Mix song, how do you feel about that?"

Perrie looked at everyone and stopped when she looked at Jade. Jade hasn't said much. It seemed like she was trying to avoid Perrie. It kinda hurt the blonde beauty.

Andrea and Lauren said that it's a brilliant idea and a great challenge. Jade just nodded to show that she agreed. Perrie nodded and put a fake smile on her face. That Jade was acting so cold towards her made Perrie feel very insecure and she was scared, because she had no idea why Jade was acting like this. When Perrie was about to talk to them about the songs, someone hugged her from behind. Perrie jumped a little bit because she was a little shocked. She looked over her shoulder to see who it was. Zayn. Perrie was more confused than ever right now. She had no idea what was happening right now.

"Hey, Pez.", he whispered in her ear before kissing her cheek. She just looked at him with her mouth wide open. "You okay?", he asked with concern. Perrie nodded after a few seconds and gave him a fake smile. He nodded with a smile. What the hell is happening, Perrie thought. She looked back to her girls and her gaze fell to Jade, which noticed Perrie's uncertainty. Jade herself was confused now, too. Didn't Perrie know what happened? Nope, she had no idea. 

"Z, I don't want to sound rude, but we're kinda working for this week's live show and-", Perrie explained with a really cute voice, but Zayn already interrupted her.

"I know, just wanted to say hello and wish you all good luck.", he said with a smile and kissed Perrie's forehead. "Can I talk to you later?" Perrie nodded slowly before biting her lip. She needed some answers, and if she couldn't find Leigh to give her those answers, Zayn would be the best second choice, because Jade probably didn't have any memories from last night either, because she was as drunk as Perrie. Wasn't she? Perrie at least thought so. Zayn hugged Perrie one last time before he went off stage and Perrie turned back to her girls.

"Anyway.. I think you should decide what you want to sing this week. We have to be stronger than ever. Since Malia had to leave last week, I'm scared one of you will need to go home this week again. This is why we have to work hard, and we have to work as much as we can. We have to work on your dance moves, your vocals, your looks.. I want to get every bit of power out of you. Of course, only if that's alright with you, guys." All of them nodded with a slight smile and a huge smile appeared on Perrie's face. Suddenly, Perrie got a text from Leigh. 

"Taken Songs for this week's theme are ;)

- F.U

- Weird People

- Good Enough

- DNA

Ps: We need to talk later, I think I might know something you'd love to hear!!xx Leigh."

Great, Perrie thought. "Okay, so.. Leigh just texted me which songs are already taken, so.. You can decide what you want to sing except: F.U, Weird People, DNA and Good Enough. Those are taken by Leigh's groups. So.. Does any of you already have a song in mind?", Perrie asked. Jade raised her hand. "Yeah, Jade?"

"Nothing Else Matters."

Perrie smiled instantly, "Great song choice, love." As Perrie realized that she just called Jade "love" she quickly looked at the bottom and blushed a little.

"I'd love to do Salute.", Lauren said and Perrie nodded.

"And you, Andrea?", Perrie asked, raising her head again, looking at the black-haired girl.

Andrea sighed, "Ehh.. How about Wings?"

Perrie nodded, "Good, I'll send Leigh the information. Now get to the dressing room and tell Aaron that I sent you to him. He'll turn you into real superstars." Her girls smiled at her and Perrie smiled back before heading off stage. The blonde quickly texted Leigh her list before searching for Zayn who sat in one of the seats in front of the stage.

"You're doing amazing, Pez.", he smiled which made her blush.

Perrie nodded, "Thank you. These girls mean so much to me. I want them to succeed. I want them to be confident and proud of themselves.", Perrie blushed. She sat down next to Zayn. It was quiet for a while and nobody said a thing. That was until Zayn took Perrie's hand.

"Zayn.. What is it that you wanted to talk to me about?", Perrie asked with concern in her voice.

Zayn sighed, "You don't remember last night, don't you?"

"Not everything.", Perrie confessed. "But maybe you can tell me.", she added with a smile.

"Well..", he let out a slight laugh, "I told you I love you."

Perrie's eyes widened, but she wasn't shocked or anything. She was surprised how this little sentence made her heart jump quickly. The blonde started to smile a little.

"And what did I say?", Perrie whispered while squeezing his hand softly. 

"I'd rather hear you say it now, in case.." In case you just said it because you were drunk, Perrie thought. 

But instead of saying it, Perrie just grabbed his face and kissed him passionately. What she didn't know was, that Jade saw the whole thing while she was standing on the stage and her heart broke piece by piece.

I didn't mean to turn this into a triangle, I swear! - It's just.. It's seems like I love to put triangles in my stories. I did it on Teachers Love, on Home and now here. I don't know what's wrong with me. I guess, I just love the dynamic of a triangle. Hmmm.. Anyways, I really hope you like this chapter! ♥(1423 words ;))
