LATER IN THE EVENING

"Babe! I'm back!", Perrie called the minute she came through the door. Jade instantly jumped off of the couch and ran into Perrie's arms. Perrie smiled the moment she finally had Jade in her arms again.

"I missed you.", Perrie whispered and pulled her closer to her.

Jade softly stroke Perrie's back, "I missed you more."

They shared an innocent kiss before they sat down on the couch together and started to talk about random things. They also catched up on what each of them did today while they cuddled up to each other. Jade held Perrie in her arms and Perrie rested her head on Jade's chest. Perrie loved listening to Jade's beating heart. It made her feel safe and like home.

"Perrie?", Jade whispered.

Perrie looked up to Jade and looked into her beautiful brown eyes, "Yeah, love?"

"It isn't easy you know.", Jade started, "You always being on the road and being constantly reminded that I didn't reach my dream."

"It's not over yet, Jadey.", Perrie interrupted.

"We don't know that.. Anyways, that isn't all..", Jade sighed, "I know we've only been dating for like two weeks, but I hate to be your 'secret' girlfriend and I hate that I can't show everyone how much I love you. I've been in love with you for a very long time and it hurts even more to know that now that I got you, I can't show it in public. I told you I want you to be ready if you want to come out, - and nothing changed about that. I still want you to do it when you feel safe and comfortable. I just.. Wanted you to know how I was feeling about this."

Jade pulled Perrie closer to her, "Please don't be mad.", the brunette whispered.

"What? Of course not.", Perrie said and sat herself up. "Jade..", Perrie bit her bottom lip and looked at her hands, "I know that this must be hard for you, trust me, I understand. And I know that I have been really distant lately when it came to my feelings, - and I'm really sorry about that." A singel tear streamed down her cheek. "I just want you to know that I heard you, everytime. I was just scared to say it out loud. I'm not ashamed of you or us, so not. I'm afraid that when I say it out loud, our little perfect bubble will break and.. That we won't be as happy as we are right now."

Jade took Perrie's hand and squeezed it softly, "It's okay. You.. Are perfect Perrie and when I know one thing it's that you don't have to be afraid to say what you feel and that it won't change a thing about us or you. I promise you, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm not planning to nor will I ever do."

A bright smile appeard on Perrie's face before she whispered the words, "I love you, too." to Jade. A huge happy smile spread on Jade's face and the next thing Perrie's remembered was how Jade smashed her lips into hers. They both smiled in the kiss. It felt better than Perrie expected it to be. She felt free and more in love than she's ever been. She realized that it was a good thing to tell Jade how she felt. After all, Perrie didn't even know why she was so scared to say it out loud. Probably, after she's been through so much pain and heartache in the last few years, she didn't know if she'd be able to open her heart again. But she did and it was the best feeling she's ever had.

"Jade..", Perrie said in between kisses.

Jade kissed Perrie's nose gently, "Yes?"
