Chapter 3

Wake up! Breakfast is ready!

That text from Morgan is how my day starts. It's 8am on a Saturday. I can't believe I am waking up this early. I don't think I have been up before 10am on a Saturday in at least six months. I throw my robe on over my pajamas, and head down stairs. I can smell food as I walk into the kitchen, and it smells good. Morgan is the only person who cooks for me, usually I'm the only cooking for everyone else. It's nice to have someone who returns the favor. I walked into the kitchen and notice Cole sitting at the counter. When he notices me, he jumps up and pours me a coffee.

"Thank you Cole, Good morning."

"Good morning, Jade. Are you excited?"

"I'm barley awake, Cole. Let me have my coffee first." I giggle back at him.

"Fair enough, I have to get going anyway."

"Where are you going already?"

"Well, you two lovely ladies are going to be at the water park in two hours, so I should probably go make sure your date will be there as well, don't you think?"

Morgan turns from the stove, and replies,

"Yes, yes, go get him. We will meet you there at exactly 10am!"

After they exchanges hug and kiss good bye, Cole gives me a quick hug, and heads out the door. Cole has never hugged me before, it kind of catches me off guard. Oh well, I bet he is just excited about being part of the match making team.

After eating scrambled eggs, and toast, Morgan and I go up stairs to get ready. After a quick shower I put on my new bathing suit, and find a black fishnet cover up in the back of my closet. Morgan is going to be so mad that I'm wearing a cover up, but oh well. I've never met this guy before, so I think I can cover anything I want. Not that it leaves too much to the imagination, it's completely see through. It just makes me feel better. I check my phone to make sure Vanessa has tried to reach me, no messages, but I do notice that it's 9:24am. Damn, Morgan and Cole said we would be there at 10, better get moving before Morgan comes in yelling at me. As I walk out my bedroom door, I smack right into Morgan.

"Ouch! I was just coming to get you."

"I'm sorry, I just looked at the time, and we should get going."

"That's my girl, ready to go meet her man!"

"Morgan, I haven't even met him, how can he be my man?"

"We will see after today." She laughs back at me.

Morgan said Cole was going to be driving his car, so I needed to bring my car in case I decided I didn't want to go home with her or Cole. I made her drive, it seems like the closer we get to the water park the more nervous I'm getting. I can't believe I'm so nervous, but I guess it makes sense, I've never been on a blind date. Not to mention Cole and Morgan wouldn't really give me any info. about this guy, so I really don't know what to expect. Finally we arrive, and park the car. As we get out of the car I find myself looking around everywhere trying to find Cole, but I don't see him anywhere.

"We should get in line for tickets, and we will meet up with them inside"

I nod in agreement with her. I guess the parking lot isn't the best place to meet someone for the first time. Still looking around, and not spotting Cole, I decide that they must already be inside the park. I glance at my phone, it's 10:10am. We are ten minutes late, they are almost defiantly inside. I happen to look up and notice that the guy in line in front of us. He is wearing only swim trunks that hang off his hips in a very sensual way. He turns around and looks back into the parking quickly, and I notice he has the most amazing blue eyes, so light they look almost white, and black hair that stops just above his eyes. He is dreamy, damn, I wish Morgan knew him so she could set us up. I gently elbow Morgan, and whisper,
