Chapter 4

It has been almost a week since my date with Colton, and I can't stop thinking about him. I have fought the urge to contact him. According to Cole, Colton has been traveling all week for business, and I don't want to bother him while he is working. I don't want to be one of those needy girls, which harasses someone they just met. I call Morgan for advice.

"Hello?"

"Morgan, I can't stop thinking about him. What did you do?"

"Ha, ha, I'm glad to hear it. Cole tells me that he has been thinking about you too!"

"Really? Then why hasn't he called?"

"Well, he's traveling, and I don't think he wants to come off the wrong way. Why don't we all get together and hang out or something? That way it's not awkward?"

"Good idea, you and Cole should set it up, that way I don't seem pushy."

"Okay, I will call Cole. Are you free tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow is Saturday, other than a few morning errands, I'm free."

"Okay, I will try to set it up for tomorrow. We will figure out something."

"Thanks, you're the best!"

"I know, I'll talk to you later."

'Bye."

Hopefully he is free tomorrow, if Morgan is telling the truth about him thinking about me, then he should want to come hang out. Damn, now I'm nervous again.

A few hours later my phone starts ringing, it's Cole.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's Cole. I know this is weird, but Colton has been talking about you non-stop. He wants to see you again, but doesn't want to pressure you into seeing him again. So..."

I cut him off, "Cole, I don't understand where you are going with this? Please, don't keep me hanging. Why did you call?"

He sighs, "Colton's flight gets in at 4pm tomorrow, and no one is available to pick him up."

"So, you thought I could pick him up?"

"Well, I figured if you both want to see each other, but are too stubborn to call one another. Then this would be a great excuse."

"So, is everyone seriously busy? Or are you trying to be sly?"

"I talked to Morgan about trying to make plans for tomorrow night. Colton thinks I will be picking him up at the airport, and then spending some quality brother time together for the rest of the night. Instead, you're going to pick him up, and we will all come back to your place to hang out."

"Oh wow, you have been spending a lot of time with Morgan! You are even making my plans for me, just like she does."

"So, what are you doing tomorrow at 4?"

"I will be picking up Colton and meeting you guys back at my place." I am smiling so much right now.

"Thank you! By the way I got a flat tire, that's why I can't pick him up. Morgan will be driving me to your house."

"I got it, and thanks Cole. Good night."

"Good night, you're welcome."

I wake up at without my alarm going off, look over at my clock, its 7:00am. Wow, I must be so excited for tonight, I can't even sleep in. I climb out of bed, and make my way to the shower. As I climb in, I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Today I'm getting a haircut, I smile to myself.
