It's been just over a month since that day with Colton, it plays over in my mind every day. I've been staying with Morgan and Cole in Colton's old bedroom, which is hard, but I don't want to be alone. Kane has been staying at my house, now that it's fixed. He comes over and keeps me company whenever Morgan and Cole are out. We often joke that his babysitting job is never ending. I feel like I'm losing my mind, anytime I'm by myself I feel as if I'm being watched. Too many things have happened to me recently, with Trevor and Emma. It doesn't make much sense, seeing how both of them are in jail, where they can't do anyone any harm. Even so I still find it hard to trust anyone, not sure how many friends Trevor may have. So I stick to the people I know, only spending time with them. The only time I leave the house is to go to work, then straight back to Cole's condo. I don't even talk with Vanessa any more, and rarely talk to my mom or Jax. From what Kane and Cole have told me, Colton seems to be keeping to himself a lot as well. Today will be the first time we've seen each other since our break up. Today is Morgan and Cole's wedding, and they have demanded that we both be there. I'm the maid of honor, and Colton is the best man, so we don't seem to have a choice.

Glancing at the clock, I realize if I don't leave this second I will be late for my hair appointment. I leave my thoughts behind as I rush out the door. I get my hair and makeup done, my nails done, and pick up my dress, before making my way to the hotel for the wedding. After the valet takes my car, a bellhop leads me to a room on the first floor. Inside I find everyone who is in the wedding party, all the groomsmen and bridesmaids, minus the bride and groom. The room looks like a conference room, with small walls put up for changing and an entire wall of mirrors. I rush behind one of the walls and get changed into my bridesmaid dress. When I step out from behind the wall I run right into the chest of one of the groomsmen.

"I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." I stammer.

"Wow, you look wonderful." Says a familiar voice.

I look up into a set of ice blue eyes, I feel myself starting to fall apart. I quickly compose myself, not wanting to get emotional right before the wedding. I tear my eyes away from his, he is wearing a nice black suit complete with tie. He looks more amazing than I remember,

"You look good yourself." I smile.

"The ceremony is about to begin, and we need to enter together."

"Well, we should be going then."

I make my way out of the room into the hall where the others in the wedding party are waiting to enter the wedding. I take my place at the head of the line, and Colton stands beside me, taking my arm in his. I resist the urge to look at him, and keep my eyes trained on the door in front of us.

"If you can find time, I would like to talk to you later." I say, trying to keep my voice calm and level.

"If it's what you want, I will make it happen."

I try to stifle a gasp, remembering those exact words when I wanted to move into the new house. My body resonates with anger at him using those words, but I say nothing and continue looking forward. Out of the corner of my eye I can see him staring at me, it makes me smile that I can still affect him. I hear him gasp very quietly as I smile. I decide right then to take my mother's advice from a few months ago. She told me she wanted to see her strong, confident daughter back, and she will have her wish. I want Colton back, and I am determined to get what I want.

The florist makes her way down the line giving each of the women a small bouquet, and each of the men a single flower for their lapels. The florist hands me my bouquet, and pauses in front of Colton. She giggles as she puts the flower in his lapel. Then pretends to prick her finger with the pin, she puts her finger to her mouth and sucks lightly on it. I can tell she is flirting and it's infuriating. I pluck a small flower from my bouquet, and let it drop to the floor. As sultry as possible I bend down to pick the flower off the floor, careful to keep my butt in Colton's line of sight. I slowly begin to stand back up, as Colton grabs my arm helping me up. I can see his eyes are alive with passion, I do have an effect on him.
