Saving Jade

Chapter 5

I wake to the sound of someone shuffling downstairs, as I try to sit up I am pinned down. I look down and notice that Colton is sleeping with his head resting on my chest. I glance over at the clock, it's only 6:38am. I try to slowly pull myself out from under Colton, without waking him. As soon I manage to get free, I sit on the edge of the bed, and look back at the wonderfully good looking man in my bed. He is sprawled out across the bed lying on his chest, with the blanket just barely covering his behind. I smile to myself as I take in every inch of him, from his feet up to his head. As my glance reaches his face, I realize he is awake and watching me. Our eyes meet, and he says,

"Are you enjoying the view?"

"Why, yes I was. Is there a problem?"

He laughs, and grabs my waist pulling me back down into bed next to him. He rolls on top of me pinning me to the bed, and kisses me affectionately. He pulls back and looks down at me grinning.

"Well this is a great way to wake up." He laughs.

He rolls off of me and out of bed, and grabs my hand to pull me out of bed. We are standing arm in arm, still naked from the night before.

"Will you join me for a shower?" He asks.

I nod, as we make our way into the bathroom.

Colton gets the shower going, and gestures for me to get in. I hop in the shower, giggling at his playful mood this morning, as he follows me into the shower. Once we are both fully wet under the shower head, he grabs my body wash and starts to lather his hands. He then starts to wash me, it is a unbelievable feeling to have someone else wash your entire body. Once he is finished he adjusts the shower head to rinse all of the soap suds off me, and grabs the shampoo. After the shampoo is rinsed, he conditions my hair, all the while being as gentle as possible, not to pull even a single hair. I repeat each step on him, as he did to me. As I finish Colton gazes down at me, as he takes me in his arms.

"I could get used to this."

I smile up at him, replying "I can defiantly get used to this."

"We should get going, we don't want to be late for my parent's brunch."

After getting dressed we head down stairs to find out if Morgan and Cole are ready. As we walk into the kitchen, I see that Cole and Morgan are already awake and nibbling muffins and coffee. Morgan's face lights up when she sees us,

"Funny thing happened earlier. I went upstairs to wake you two up, and realized that that other bedroom is covered with papers and books. No one slept in there, weird huh?"

Colton and I glance at each other, and smile. I walk over to the coffee pot, and pour myself some.

"Yes, well I forgot about the mess, so what?" I say as I wink at Colton.

Colton walks up next to me and pours himself some coffee, then turns to Morgan and Cole,

"Cole, let me know when you're ready to go to the house, we have to get ready for brunch." He turns to me,

"You two will meet us there in a little bit, right?"

"Of course, we will be there soon." I respond.

"Jade, you're coming too?" Cole asks, looking puzzled.

"Yes, I invited her to come and meet everyone." Colton answers before I can.

Colton finishes his coffee, and gives me a kiss while Morgan and Cole say their goodbye. After they leave, Morgan turns to me with excitement written all over her face,

"I can't believe you two spent the night together!"

"Why? He is a great guy and we are both adults."
