You Must Understand

When change comes, do not let it startle you. Do not change the way you have accustomed to living because that is how you are still alive. You must analyse everything if you wish to survive this place. You'll see people and the next day they might be dead. You might see them die. You might kill them. Let it go, each day is new and different. Treat each day separately.

Do not schedule your evenings; they usually change. My station is no longer rehabilitation. I'm back to my old routine. There's only five of us currently at the station. The rest are not dead. They return to their cells. This is unusual but I must think of it as nothing. That is how I will stay here. Do not think. They will know if you think.

There aren't any snitches. Do not fear to tell the Inmates the truth. I do not mean that you should not be cautious or suspicious for they can still do as they please with you. Unless you are Special. Every group can be thought of as a team. You stick together until one hinders your ability but you do not turn on them. It is the same for groups within the Organisation.

Treat this piece of text as a guide or a car manual. That is what it really is. If you have found this, you are most likely already on the island. If you are reading then you most likely do not understand, you are looking for the information you need in this guide. Once you understand, you can do as you please with this. You can try and get my story told, you can sell it, you can look deeper, you can continue this writing and publish it as your own. However you cannot look for me, do not try to identify me.

That is not the purpose of a textual guide.

If you have substantial information, you must leave now and stop reading. Because if you are reading that means you are here. And if you are here with information you are in danger.

Don't try to escape. Escaping means you have already been captured. The truth is, and I'll tell you this now, I do not know the circumstances you are in. I am writing in advance. I have never met you. I do not know if you are a free man. However I know that this will be passed on to someone.

If you have found this, then you must be more confused than if it were handed to you. Because if it has been passed onto you, you are sitting in a cell - my cell. If you have found this, then the person who should have got this from the Organisation did not dispose of it correctly and I am most likely long gone.

I should not reveal much this early on in the guide, for the guy before me did not and nor the guy before him. If you have already figured it out then you will survive easily. If not, I do not know whether or not you will live.

I was given this little book to write in. I had no information yet I understood what it was for, and what it means for me. After a few years you start to understand how they communicate and what they want from Inmates at given times. They want us alive and they want us to understand with as little words shared as possible. That is how this works.

Now, I will write purely on the circumstance that this has been passed onto you. You have woken up in my cell, the cell is plain with no markings whatsoever. There is a stone for you to create new markings. This book was left somewhere in the cell. You cannot see outside of the cell. This is your second year here. You will have a sense of recognition but you feel as though yesterday you were somewhere else. You have passed wing nine. After wing nine, you are drugged and hypnotised. You start fresh in your new wing, but with wing nine engraved in the back of your mind. A set of rules, morals, and fears that you know but do not remember. It is as if they are innate.

I cannot say for certain what station you will be placed in. I cannot say if I know the Inmates of your wing. For the first week, you will not be able to see outside your cell, not even through the bars. After this week you will be able to see through the bars, the cell opposite you may be vacant or occupied. Remember not to speak. Some wing one members will have their lips sewn. They spoke. If your lips are sewn, do not make any effort to unstitch them. After a period of time, it may be done for you. You may have to stay that way until you die. Do not speak.

I reiterate because there is not much I can say however what I do have to say is important and must not be forgotten. Do not skim read, this is for your own benefit. Regard this book as if it were handed to you by your God.

If you are skilled, you will be able to get rid of the writings on these pages. Cover them up or somehow erase them. If so, you can use this to your liking. That will count as a form of disposal. After a month you must have disposed of this. If you do not, and trust me they will know, your next year will be Rehabilitation. That will serve as your wing rather than your station. Your station will become a stress relief program for members of wing three. You will be tortured and then you will become a punching bag.

Life will be hard and painful. But you are here because you have valued information. Survive and pass on your information.

If you did not receive this inside a cell, you should be aware of how vital your knowledge is. Do not be selfish. Share it, even if you end up dead. You're dead regardless.
