"Hey guys, look." Mikey pointed out. "Livingston." It was a green sign on the side of the road with white writing, giving us the knowledge that we were entering a new area.

"What does that mean?" I asked.

"After Livingston," Mikey started. "We enter Wyoming, New York, and then Erie. And after that--"

"We cross the border." Patience finished for him.

"Correct." Says Donnie. "It's a nice town with many things that could help. There's a thicker forest that has animals we could hunt." He announced.

"Finally," I say.

The sun is waking up through the trees at the right moment of the hour. The rays would blind anyone for a second if they had a quick gaze. A small flock of blackbirds flew over our heads and disappeared once they reached the trees on the left side. My bear form kept me going, walking without stopping. Five hundred to eight hundred pounds of power strolling next to the nerd himself. And suddenly, a single spec of white fell in front of my eyes.

Both my eyebrow ridges popped up for a second, my snout praising the sky, and found many more of the cold specs falling.

"The snow is here." A smile curls on my lips. It was like a giant snow globe. The way the snowflakes floated down to earth was soothing and extremely calming. Now that the next season has arrived, I knew the actions of the snow would affect us in various ways like hunting, staying warm, and maybe more enemies coming our way. We'll worry about that later. For now, we enjoyed the view from below as the snow fell on us in Livingston.

We found a house three days ago to stay in while the snow made up its mind for the first time this year. The white blanket didn't stick to the ground for very long, so it gave us more time to find a proper place to stay for a while longer. Today, we're leaving to find more warmth and shelter for the winter. Donnie had looked on his maps and said we were going to be seeing a neighborhood and a town in the same place. Another stinking town.

This area we are to visit is very beautiful. The trees have grown since they were seedlings and it was like nothing bothered this part of New York... It's new. Like, it was reborn.

As the days went on, Leo still kept my knife. His intentions are to keep me and the group safe, so I let him keep it for a little while longer. Recently, he gave everyone a gun, except for me... I gotta move past this.

He wanted to make things easier by letting us rest longer, eating larger portions of food, and more. So far, it's working but it won't last as long.

Mikey's shoulder had healed, but not fully for it being sore and heavy. I'm not gonna lie, the younger turtle is tough as nails.

My neck is healing just fine, too. I was able to take off the bandages today and it's just some stitched-up gashes that will become scars. As for my hand, it got better as well.

Then, Donnie was growing an unknown relationship with Patience and I wasn't sure what kind exactly. For being sheltered, I didn't know much about relationships. They had different approaches to every conversation and even the weirdest smiles and smirks.

I never understood love. But maybe I am to learn.

Splinter looks like he is growing tired every day and can't take the long travel. I know for a fact his body will shut down soon, letting him know his time will be up. I didn't want to jinx it, though.
