Heart racing.
Stomach twisting.
Bone shattering.
Horrifying.
I want to look.
I want to look at you and see if you've realized the consequences of your actions.
I want to see if you have figured out that you turned my life into a field of emptiness.
I want to know if you are aware that what you did is not ok.
That what you did is unacceptable.
I can't believe you're getting away.
Partly because I'm afraid of what you'll do to me if you get in trouble.
And partly because law enforcement said it wasn't bad enough for them to do anything.
