MIN YOONGI

"What the hell do you mean he doesn't exist?!" Yoongi snapped at the doctor in front of him.

He only smiled in that weirdly freakishly way he did,"You're mother told me you tell her a lot about this Jung Hoseok, but she's never seen him before."

"Yeah because she can barely acknowledge my own existence." He started to roll is eyes, his fists clenching till they turned white,"I'm not crazy. Let me out of this shithole."

Dr. Kang was silent for a little bit, both boys staring at each other with such tension. Yoongi was almost startled when he started to speak again,"Your teachers told me that you spoke to this Jung Hoseok--"

"Stop saying this Jung Hoseok, he's real! I see him everyday!" Yoongi wanted to hit the doctor so bad, but he gritted his teeth in anger.

"You might be surprised Min Yoongi."

"What... the hell are you talking about! It seems like all you fucking doctors speak in riddles! Just get to the point!"

Dr. Kang waited for Yoongi's fit to end, a frown on his handsomely young face. He adjusted the steel rimmed glasses on his nose and cleared his throat,"You might be surprised." He said again and paused,"What you see everyday might not be seen by everyone else."

Yoongi decided by that point to just ignore him, turning his head away to stare at the blank wall to his right. His hands had entangled with the thin sheet he sat on, it was the only thing he could clench hard enough to stop himself from just punching the doctor right in the face.

How dare he say such things. How dare he say his best friend isn't real, doesn't exist. Who the fuck did he think he was.

"Your saying my reality isn't your reality...?" Yoongi's voice was almost inaudible, even with the silence that filled the empty room.

"I'm sorry." Dr. Kang released a small sigh, almost as if he was didn't want to break the truth that him, but Yoongi knew he wanted to. He knew Dr. Kang would take great pleasure in telling him he was crazy in the most cruelest of ways.

"But I believe you're schizophrenic."

Schizophrenic...?

Yoongi couldn't be schizophrenic, there was no way. He glanced back at the doctor, again he had on a slight amused look,"Is that funny to you?" Yoongi growled lowly,"You take pleasure in telling teenagers that they see things others don't?"

"Of course not. Mr. Min--"

"Where's you're proof?" Yoongi interrupted,"How are you so sure?"

"Why don't you tell me." Dr. Kang sneered,"What have you seen?"

Yoongi squeezed his eyes shut. There wasn't anyway he was going to believe this man. No. Yoongi suddenly darted up, rushing to the steel door. His hand had just brushed the cold iron handle when he was suddenly pulled back by the collar of his hospital gown.

"What are you doing Mr. Min?"

"Let me see my mother."

Dr. Kang raised an eyebrow,"Your mother?" He stopped and pause like he was weighing his options but then smiled. That grin that makes Yoongi want to throw up,"Of course, why didn't you just ask." He gave a deep chuckle.

Because your a fucking psycho...

Dr. Kang let go of Yoongi before carefully eyeballing him. He slowly opened the steel door, almost waiting for Yoongi to start running. But he didn't, even if he tried the would catch him. He still couldn't get over how fast the doctor had reacted to him fleeing.

"This way then." He put a hand on Yoongi's back, leading him down the hallway before him. He was surprised that it looked practically the same as the room. Plain white walls and white marble tiles. He even started to take notice that he and Dr. Kang were wearing the same color of white too.

"Why is there no color?" He suddenly asked, now getting curious.

"Hm?" Dr. Kang's voice seemed to echo in the empty hallway beyond the footsteps they were both taking,"Color can make a person feel... emotions. White is subtle, plain yet vibrant. It helps a patient feel relaxed."

"Well I don't." Yoongi mumbled.

Dr. Kang only chuckled,"Because you're choosing not to be. You're choosing to be complicated."
