PARK JIMINLunch has got to be the worst. Nothing ever goes right. Of course nothing ever goes right but when lunch time rolls around its like being caught in a tornado.
It's supposed to be a time of bonding, showing your love and affection even though we're all practically mentally insane, or so the doctors say.
Jimin was different then most people, to them though, he was what they called "lust driven." He was at war with his own hormones. In a sense yes, yes he was. But all Jimin really wanted was someone who accepted him for him, and Lunch time wasn't the place to find that certain someone. Or was it?
Jimin hated it, they all hated it. They're weren't much "kind" words going around table, never has been. Even with the presence of the doctors telling them that they'll never get better if they can't even say a simple hello. Jimin thought it was bullshit, just a waste of time. They got along well.... if they weren't together in the same room, or better yet not even seeing each other.
The fact that each and every day, Jimin wakes up and already complains and groans about the idea of going to lunch really bothers him. The other boys aren't even fun to be around, hell, Jimin is the one diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder and yet the others barely say a word to each other and Jimin ends up with all the talking.
And yet here he is, walking down the same damn hall, at the same damn time to the same damn table where they all will eat the most disgusting food on the planet. And probably won't even speak a word, let alone a sentence. Either that or let the sarcastic compliments begin.
"Don't you ever think about wearing colors?" Jimin directed his attention to the small, quiet dark haired boy in front of him.
The boy stopped walking, giving jimin the advantage of gaining lead. Jimin couldn't help but give the younger an evil stare.
"I can wear what I want." Jungkook's voice was still soft yet his stern look, he rarely talked so hearing his voice was always a surprise.
"It looks like your on your way to a funeral everyday." Jimin had rolled his eyes, now taking longer strides down the hallway. He wanted to be far away from the rest of the boys, he wanted to disappear just as much.
Jungkook had subconsciously looked down at his clothing, he wore black pants, a black hoodie and a pair of all black converse. So what that he likes black? Of course, his favorite color was red, but he had something else that satisfied his needs to look at the intriguing color, hopefully no one would ever find out about it.
The other boys, taehyung, seokjin and namjoon all seemed to be keeping about 5 feet of distance between them, although seokjin and namjoon are related, for some reason they don't seem at ease with each other at the moment.
Jimin never really understood why Seokjin was here in the first place, he isn't diagnosed with anything or at least to Jimin he isn't. No one is allowed to know ones real diagnosis, it's against the rules, the only people who are allowed to know are of course the doctors but still there can be clues and signs that can help you figure out a little bit about them. Another then the "symptoms" it's like a guessing game, you never really know what the other boy is diagnosed with and you can only assume what they have.
Jimin wasn't sure about Namjoon, or Seokjin's diagnoses. The reason why Jimin is curious about Seokjin is because out of the five of them, he seems the most normal. And it's become almost a game to Jimin to find out more about him, he is always watching what the older does, just trying to figure out his flaws.
The one thing that bothers him is the fact that Seokjin always avoids mirrors, no matter the size, shape or color, he stays away, always hanging his head low like a hurt puppy when he even glances at the mirror. Why would he avoid a mirror? God forbid the boy looks like a prince from a fairytale, there's gotta be a way that he maintains such looks.
There is just no way he doesn't look in a mirror to fix his pile of soft brown curls to make them so... perfect. It angered Jimin, so much that he dyed his hair bright orange just so he could draw attention to himself and away from "Mr. Pretty boy."
It hardly worked in his favor and Seokjin still seems to get what he wants when he wants it.
Namjoon on the other hand, he's just a smartass. A smartass that breaks stuff in two and can't figure out why. Jimin couldn't really figure out why either, it seems like anytime Namjoon is around things are either breaking, or flying off whatever there currently sitting on.
Jimin likes to joke about it though, telling him he just has bad luck after he sees the older start to pout. Jimin even went about saying that he might be possessed, or a ghost was attached to him. Namjoon didn't seem too amused though.
Last but not least, there was Taehyung. Kim Taehyung. It's bad enough the Kim brothers were weird as ever, but Taehyung? He's the worst. Jiminy hates him with a passion, he never shuts up, never stops running his mouth or complaining.
Jimin was pretty sure he was bipolar, he could be a complete asshole one minute and then became some angel that suddenly wants to help you out or something.
The only person he really ever tried to become friends with was Jungkook, but Jungkook being the quiet person he is pushed him away. Jungkook never really cared for Taehyung's "attitude" to begin with and when Taehyung and Jimin get in a verbal fight, the younger is usually caught in the middle and abused by Taehyung's words.
No matter how many apologies, Jungkook still pushes him away on most occasions.
Jimin finally let out a sigh when he approached the lunch room door, he hated the look of them. Just plain colored swinging doors that with one push would send them swinging open and hell was on the other side.
He glanced back, the other boys were pretty far behind. He took one last inhale before he kicked the doors open, the smell of food filling his senses finally. It disgusted him.
Two steps in and an unfamiliar figure stood to his left. It wasn't till then did he remember, the doctors had brought in another boy for "treatment." He couldn't quite remember the name though.
Jimin looked him up and down, letting his eyes linger longer the usual. Usually he wouldn't even care that there was a new boy, that's how he was with Jungkook when he showed up, he said his hello, shook his hand and went back to whatever he was doing.
But this kid. His hair was mint green for crying out loud. And the best part was, he actually looked... normal. Breathtaking even, someone you could stare and never get want to look away. His facial features were interesting, he had a faint red flush to his cheeks making Jimin realize he had practically just gotten here and the cold of outside was still lingering.
Jimin didn't even realize he had started to smirk when he suddenly stopped in front of the boy. Both of them eyeing each other with curiosity.
"Park Jimin." Jimin had stuck out his hand, waiting almost impatiently for the boy to take it. He desperately wanted to know the boys name, he needed to know.
The boy, almost cautiously, took Jimin's hand and he could see as the boys eyes widened a little at the touch.
Jimin's pride only rose from there.
