JUNG HOSEOK

He could ever really remember how he died or even what his life was like before.

All he knew was that he was once loved. Once had a family who cared and raised him to be the person he was. Bright and warm hearted like the sun high above.

But now everything was dark, cold and he found himself holding his knees to his chest in a frightened state.

He watched with narrowed eyes as the floating, lost forms of people's forgotten souls look desperately for answers in the dark. He felt bad for them, wondered what their life had been before they wound up dead and now float around in empty space.

They were looking for someone like Yoongi. Someone who could talk to them, hear them out. Hoseok knew about Yoongi from even before he knew about himself. Hoseok has kept the spirits at bay this whole time, but they only get stronger as time goes by and Yoongi's true form starts to take shape.

The smell is agonizingly strong, the sweet smell of lilac and lavender drifted through each and every connection to the real world.

He was different from the rest something he was grateful for. Grateful for meeting the young boy, a day he'll never forget.

"...Hoseok-ah...."

Hoseok's eyes widened, hearing the voice echo through the darkened space. He couldn't help but smile, Yoongi was actually trying to contact him, using his ability well even though he probably had no idea he was doing it.

Hoseok unwrapped his arms from his legs and left himself drift up to one of the many rifts in the darkness, it stung each time, like a thousand needles pricking his fragile skin as he passed through to the real world.

Soon the sensation was replaced with a light and feathery feeling as the light engulfed him and Yoongi appeared to him.

His familiar faded mint green hair and his pale skin. He noticed that his eyes were closed and his breathing was slow.

"Hyung, I'm here."

When Yoongi's brown eyes opened to look at him, he seemed to be in shock, even confused.

"H-Hoseok? You're actually.."

Yoongi had completely removed himself from the chair, walking ever so closely to him.

Hoseok grinned then, noticing how the olders eyes would linger on him. He had always watched over him, from the time he was able to sense his smell and form. He knew other lost souls would be out to get him sooner or later, Yoongi was too young at that age to realize.

"Your connection with the other world has been quite faded than normal, did they finally give you medication?

"Just last night, I guess it'll start taking effect soon..." Yoongi's voice trailed off and his head lowered,"Will you disappear?"

Hoseok laughed nervously, trying to brighten the mood a little,"From your vision and mind... yes. But hyung, I'll always been here whether you can see me or not."

That made Yoongi look up, his eyes filled with many questions,"I just--"

There was a soft knock on the door which made cut Yoongi off and direct his attention over Hoseok's shoulder.

"Yoong-shi? You in there?"

Before Yoongi could answer the door opened up and Seokjin had appeared in the doorway. His bright complexion shined as always, his handsome smooth face and wavy brown hair piled atop his head.

Hoseok looked between Yoongi and Seokjin, like that awkward friend that just accidentally came in at the wrong time.

"Sorry to um.. interrupt but, it's time for outdoor activities."

Yoongi sighed out deeply, he wasn't in the mood for being outside, let alone any sort of excerise. He stole a glance at Hoseok, suddenly feeling sad about not getting to say much to him after summoning him there but he gave a small nod to him anyway, trying not to be noticed by Seokjin's lingering eyes.

Hoseok got the message, giving a tiny wave of his hand to motion him off. He was happy for their meeting, happy that he got to see his face once more and hear his voice once again.

He watched as the mint haired boy disappeared with other and his smile was replaced with a frown.

The darkness was calling him, begging him to come back. It was his home now, there was no other choice.
