MIN YOONGI

The rest of Yoongi's night had consisted of vague nightmares. Blurry imagines of the dead, half melted figure chasing him through the maze of the school tormented his dreams.

He had woken up too many times with his hair plastered to his face with cold sweat. He wondering how Namjoon could be snuggled deep within the blankets, sound asleep. He envied him in a way, jealous that younger had somehow spent months here without going completely insane.

Yoongi however wanted to go back home. He never wished for that ever. Never wanted to go back into that house and it's memories. But here he was, sweat dripping from his forehead, breathing heavily and yet he was home sick.

He doubted it was the house that kept him wishing for freedom. It was Hoseok. His chat with him that evening had been something he hadn't realized he needed. Maybe with him gone, Yoongi finally realized that he was actually really alone in the world.

At some point in the night though, Yoongi had fallen asleep, although the nightmares still lurked in the darkest part of his mind.

"Rise and shine hyung!"

Yoongi could hear Namjoon's voice in his ear, yet he refused to obey it. He even let the younger grab him by the arms and pull him from the blankets warmth and onto the cold floor before he decided to wipe the sleep from his eyes.

"Yah.." Yoongi let out a deep yawn as he shot the younger with a deadly glare.

"It's breakfast, aren't you hungry?" Namjoon seemed brighter today compared then yesterday night. When Yoongi had finally returned to the room last night, he found him already asleep on his bed. The room had been cleaned up like he had promised and Yoongi remembered the real reason why he went out to the kitchen. He had forgotten to give Namjoon a glass of water. But by the looks of him today, that must be in past.

"I guess.." Yoongi really wasn't hungry, in fact he felt sick. Probably the side effects of the medicine he was given. He tried to ignore the dizziness in his head as he followed Namjoon to the dining room.

When they both took their seats at the table, Yoongi and Jimin had locked eyes together. Yoongi had immediately remembered their night looking at the stars above. It was the calmest he ever felt since arriving at Gonjiam.

"Did Jimin do something to poor Yoongi Hyung?" Taehyung cooed from across the table earning him a glare from Jimin.

"Nothing happened. Why do you care anyway?"

Taehyung scoffed,"You seemed to be lost in each others eyes that's all."

Breakfast wasn't too great, just a slice of bread and a pile of scrambled eggs. Nothing surprising. Yoongi had decided to excuse himself afterwards and take a look around the house while the others were still eating and throwing hate across the table.

Unfortunately for him, he ran into Dr. Ahn, who had given him the most cringe worthy greeting possible.

"Good morning, sunshine! How was your first day, good?"

"It was fine." He had other things to worry about,"Can I email today?"

"Actually.." Dr. Ahn had smiled almost devilishly,"I have a favor to ask of you."

"What is it?" Yoongi stared at her in confusion.

"There's a basket of clothes outside my office that I have picked up from the local store for you. Will you take them down to the basement and wash them?"

Great, just what he needed. He's sent here as a crazy person and made a maid. But they were his clothes afterall, he did have to be grateful for that in the least.

"Sure. Thank you." He offered her a bow of respect, something that made him sick to his stomach.

He knew where her office was since he followed her last night. The door was closed though and he had a hint of curiosity to check if it was unlocked or not. He decided to leave it, picking up the small basket of clothes outside of the door.

He had made it all the way through the kitchen and into the hallway before he realized he had no idea where he was going or even where the basement was. It was just his luck that a certain someone had showed up too.

"And where are you going?"

"Not now Taehyung." Yoongi really didn't want to talk to him. In fact Taehyung would be the last person he would ever ask for directions, but he probably didn't have a choice.

Taehyung's mouth twisted into a smile,"Just tell me where your headed. Simple as that, and I'll let you go."

Taehyung blocked Yoongi's path, even taking the time to cross his arms over his chest. Yoongi knew it would be best not to argue with him, especially this early in the morning.

"I just need to go to the basement to wash clothes."

"Well why didn't you just say so?" Taehyung removed his smile and instead replaced it with a frown and innocent eyes,"Follow me."

Although he was cautious at first, he followed him down the hallway only you make a right at the end. Yoongi was surprised to see another door at the end of yet another small hallway. He shivered a little at the thought of making his way into the depths of the basement, he hoped it wasn't covered in spiderwebs and weird insects.

He watched as Taehyung opened the old wooden door and Yoongi carefully peered down the steep stairs. They were made of cement which made him a little less afraid of them collapsing.

"Well, have fun." Taehyung gave Yoongi a smile, which he knew he didn't truly mean. He gave Yoongi a slight push into the doorway and he panicked a little, almost losing grip of the laundry basket to grab the fragile looking railing to stable himself.

He listened to Taehyung's laughter as he walked away back down the hallway and out of sight. Yoongi thought that if Taehyung ever got the chance to hurt him, he would definitely take the chance.

Yoongi sighed, carefully placing his feet onto the first step of the stairs. He did continued to do so till his feet touched soild ground. It wasn't till then did he smell a familiar scent.

The smell of burning, but not a rotting smell or the scent of melted flesh. It just smelled oddly satisfying, the way it slightly burned his throat and made his eyes water. But he if smelled something burning, that could only mean one thing...

He quickly turned the corner on the stairs down a long hallway again, the smell starting to get stronger as he approached the end where it branched off into another room.

He stopped dead in his tracks though. Unable to grasp what he was seeing right now, all he could manage was a single word.

"Jungkook?"
