Chapter 15: Closing

--Your POV--

You arrived home with food and a smile on your face.

"Matt! I'm back!" You shout while setting the bags down on the kitchen table.

There was no response so you explored the apartment room. The kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom, closet, and even the room with all his pictures and stuff of himself. You started to worry.

'Oh no! Oh no! OH NO! Why does this keep happening!? Where is he!?'

You looked at the door and saw a note that you didn't see before. It said that he went to Tord's but the time he said he left at, meant that something has happened. You ran over to Edd's and woke him up, because by now it was night. He slowly opened the door.

"F/N? What are you doing u-"

"Something happened to Matt!" You shout.

"Not again, alright let me get into some daytime clo-"

"No time! Let's go!" You grabbed his wrist and pulled him with you.

He sighed and teleported with you to Tord's base. When you reached his base, soldiers immediately swarmed both of you, Edd jumped and you stood your ground.

"Ah man! Look who we have here!" Tord came walking up. "F/N and Edd, not much of a surprise there."

"Where is Matt!?" You barked.

"You want Matt?" Tord asked, you nodded. "Here he is." Tord took a step to the side to reveal your... lover.

Matt now wore different clothes and he acted like the rest of the soldiers around you and Edd. He stood straight and firm, with an emotionless expression. You could feel your heart fall, knowing that Matt may not be the same man he once was. You fell to your knees as Matt walked closer to you, looking down with the same face. Then he cracked a slight smile, and knelt down to your level.

"F/N... you need to go back to your world." He said.

"But, why did you join, why can't you come with me?" You started to cry.

"Because I-I... just can't."

"Why?"

"I mean I just can't!" He started to tear up. "The people in the other world probably need you more than I need you. I'm... not real." He looked to the side.

"W-what!? But how could you not be real!? I can feel you, see you, and hear you. Does that not mean anything?"

"No. That doesn't mean that I'm real." He grabbed your head gently. "Look, F/N...." He sighed. "... this is for your own good. You need to go back."

"I won't go, not without you!" You cried.

"But F/N! I can't go!" He rose his voice slightly.

"Why!? What could possibly be the 'Oh so great' reason!?"

"I will die!"

You froze. If he entered through the doorway from this world and to your world, he would die? You broke down, tears falling down your face while Matt watched you.

"F/N... I-I'm sorry it has to be this way. If you were to stay here, Red Leader would turn you into a soldier with harsh treatment and torment, and your body may give out, they could pull your plug." Matt explained.

You started to shake because of fear. He then pressed his lips against yours to calm you down. It was a long passionate kiss. It didn't bother you because you knew that everyone looked away. He then pulled away.

"I love you F/N." He said.

"I-I love you t-too Matt." You responded, and stood up with him.

You walked over to Tord.

"Follow me." You followed Tord to a large machine.

It stunned you, the sights did. (Oh great, now I sound like Yoda from Starwars.) It was you through the dimensional portal. It looked like you were in a hospital bed. You had bandages on your forehead and you saw your heartbeat being monitored on a screen of a machine that was hooked up to you. You then had a flashback to what happened.

::Flashback::

You woke up, stretched, and headed downstairs to the couch. You grabbed your tablet and went on YouTube and turned on some EddsWorld, you could do so because you had just moved out from your parents. It's somewhat been hard without Edd Gould making EddsWorld but kept happy because his friends and family are continuing his legacy. You saw that the two new Eddisode's were labeled 'The End'. At those two words, you froze and felt a tear start to form in your eye. But you shook the thought out of your head and watched the animations.

By now, you finished watching both parts, laughing and crying at the same time.

'EddsWorld is finished!'

You thought, not listening to Tom saying that Edds' family will possibly continue the legacy.

-:Time Skip:-

Now you were lying awake and staring at your plain ceiling that just blankly looked back. It mocked you, teasing you about EddsWorld it felt like. All was on your mind was not so much Tom, tiny bit of Tord, some Edd, and mostly Matt. The ceiling managed to make your anger and rage show as you took your water bottle and threw it to the wall. It landed next to your tablet as you get up and start walking over.

'One Eddisode wouldn't hurt.'

You sat down and before you know it, your watching The End part two again. Then you feel your eyelids closing as you start falling forward, closer and closer to your tablet and wall. You feel the sight impact of hitting your tablet screen but can't react fast enough, thus making you fall asleep.

::Flashback End::

You stumbled backwards and Matt caught you. This was all in your head, your mind had traveled to this world when you fell asleep on your tablet. You looked back at everyone, even Tom was there, but he was wearing his new clothes and was acting like a soldier.

"F/N, you have two choices, both are yours. But I'm saying that if you stay here, they could pull your plug and you would either be trapped here forever or you would die in both dimensions. If you went, we would remember you but you would never be able to come back or really make any contact with us. What will it be?" Tord explained.

(I know I said that it would be at least 20 chapters long but I couldn't stall any longer. This was going to happen either way so... yeah. There will be three ends, happy, sad, and of course the one in between. Sorry. They will be short chapters though. Anyways, have a good day because all day yesterday it snowed and we have over 18 inches of snow to clean off the roads so, bye!
