Big Bang - Bae Bae
Shared this mv here because.....heheheheChapter 26
Danielle's POV
For the next few weeks, Matt and I had spent every single moment together. Well, excluding the time in school, of course.
The thing was, however, it was as if I wasn't going to leave at all. The days passed as per normal — well almost normal, as long as the subject of leaving wasn't brought up.
Right now I was cuddled up on the couch next to Matt, watching a 21 Jump Street in his apartment. Apparently, Matt had the urge to watch an action pack movie, and 21 Jump Street was what he decided on. I wasn't complaining though, the movie was mixed with humour and plus, there's Channing Tatum inside.
Who wouldn't want to watch a hot Channing Tatum in action?
It was a Friday night, and while everyone was busy partying or whatever the hell they were doing, I was watching a movie with my English teacher. Not that I minded, though. I'd choose being with Matt anytime.
But you don't have a choice in leaving him for London, Danielle. Remember that.
My heart sank as the thought came through. I sighed sadly, leaning my head on Matt's shoulder. My change in mood didn't go unnoticed.
Matt's arm that was wrapped around me pulled me closer. He diverted his attention from the movie, when Channing and Jonah's characters were sticking their fingers down each other's throat and the cleaner was watching them in disgust. Although I found the scene absolutely amusing, I couldn't bring myself to laugh at the point of time. And from what I could see, neither could Matt.
He looked at me in understanding. He knew what I was thinking about.
Pulling me closer to the point that I was sitting on his lap and there wasn't a single space between us, he pressed his lips to mine.
It started slow and passionate, but soon grew heated.
I was gasping for air when we finally broke apart and were resting our foreheads against each other.
"I love you," we said at the same time, causing Matt to chuckle and for me to smile. The sound from the movie was playing in the background — forgotten.
Matt closed his eyes and sighed, his hot breath fanning my lips. When he opened his eyes once more, I almost gasped at the amount of sadness in them.
"Danielle, I know you can't change anything, and I understand that. I have to stay here for my mom and you have to go for your dad. And...I just wanted to say that...you're the best thing that has happened in my life, and even though we're going to be miles apart, you're always be here, in my heart," Matt whispered, taking my hands and putting it to the left side of his chest.
I choked on a sob and smiled. "That was so sappy, but we're just going to have to cross that bridge when the time comes."
My voice was barely understandable with all the tears streaming down my cheeks. If I wasn't mistaken, I could see a tear escape Matt's eyes.
He slowly kissed all the tears away and held me close. "I will always love you, Danielle Brooks, and don't forget that."
Together, we shared a kiss filled with love and passion, and like how every heated kiss results to, he carried me to the bedroom.
You know what happens next.

I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed as I have ever been. My mind wondered to last night's events and I couldn't stop the smile that slipped onto my face.
I looked towards Matt, who had me against his broad and bare chest. He was still sleeping soundly, looking peaceful. He must be really tired after last night. My face burned in embarrassment.
I decided to make some breakfast - or rather Lunch - for Matt and I. I slipped on my undergarments and one of Matt's shirt before quietly leaving the room.
As I started cooking some eggs and bacon, I had an odd feeling at the pit of my stomach. There was something missing...something I forgot to do.
Not wanting my thoughts to ruin my happy mood, I dismissed it.
Just as I placed the plates filled with food on the table, Matt emerged wearing boxers and a shirt that hid the broad, muscular chest—
I mentally slapped myself and felt the blood rushing to my cheeks. Clearing my throat inconspicuously, I turned my head and walked towards the fridge to get a carton of milk.
"What were you thinking about, Danielle?" Matt asked, amused, taking note of my beetroot face.
I grumbled under my breath to myself and snatched the carton of milk located right at the back of the fridge. Suspecting that the milk was spoilt since it was forgotten and kept at the back of the fridge, I check the expiration date and was proven right. Sighing, I threw the carton into the rubbish bin.
Matt suddenly came from behind me and took the carton of orange juice instead, pouring the contents into two cups. I flashed a smile towards him, grateful for his help.
We then proceeded to devour our food as if we hadn't eaten for months. The events yesterday had surely took a lot of energy.
I once again fought the blush that was trying to crawl its way to my cheeks. No way was I going to let Matt know what I was thinking—
"Is that a blush I see, Danielle?"
Forget it.
"What were you thinking?" Matt asked slyly, raising an eyebrow while looking extremely amused.
My answer?
"Channing Tatum. Gosh, he was so hot. Especially in that movie 21 Jump Street we watched yesterday, wasn't he—"
Matt slapped a hand across my mouth, effectively shutting me up.
"Mmmmph- Ch- Nngg- Ttm—"
Or not.
"One more word about Channing Tatum and I'll tell on you to your dad about how we slept together last night," Matt spoke, his hand still across my mouth.
No matter how hard I tried to remove his hand, he remained persistent.
So of course, I had to resort to desperate measures.
"EW WOMAN DID YOU JUST LICK MY HAND?"
"Don't forget I hadn't brushed my teeth yet," I replied slyly sending him a wink.

A/N: It's quite short, but it's better than nothing, right? :3
Sorry for not updating for God knows how long. I'm sure most of you guys want a reason.
Honestly?
If it wasn't tests or homework, or even computer malfunction (I didn't know we can edit our stories in the Wattpad app on our phones now), then it was one simple thing:
K-Dramas.
I could list a whole page (well not really) of Korean dramas I have watched so far. Lol. I got addicted after the first drama I watched.
And recently I just came back from my holiday to Sharjah and Dubai in UAE. My cousin and her fam lived there for 2 years and I hadn't seen them ever since. So I got to see them then. (:
Anyways, I'm really sorry for keeping you waiting and I really do appreciate your support so far. :')
I dedicate this chapter to ALL my readers. Love you! Muahhh.
