Chapter Twelve~

Your pov

Just as I was getting ready to lay down in my bed I heard a knock at my front door.

I let out a frustrated sigh and run my hands down my face before heading to the door.

"Are you a cereal killer? I swear I don't have anymore lucky charms so you can move onto the next house." I say from behind the door.

"It's me you idiot. Open up." Min says from the other side.

"Sorry, I actually thought it was -" but I stop mid sentence as I open the door and see who's at Min's side.

"What is.." but I can't find the right words or any words for that matter.

My head was spinning.

"Can we come in?" Min asks and without thinking I open the door more.

As they walk in I watch the back of the head of the man I had come to despise more than anyone else in this world.

I look away and shut the door.

With a breath I walk to the living room.

"Why is he here?" I ask once I finally find my voice.

"He's here because I asked him to." Min says.

"Why would you do that?" I ask, my hands bawling into fists in my lap.

"You need closure, Y/n and he's going to give it to you." she says and I look over at the man whom I hated.

"Go on." Min says as she elbows him.

He mumbles something to himself before looking over at me.

My insides burned.

"I don't exactly know what I'm supposed to say." he says, laughing a little.

"How about starting with an apology for ruining me." I say bitterly.

"Ruining you?" He asks as his eyebrows raise.

"Because of you I can't even open up to anyone other than Min. Because of you I'm afraid to take chances on people. Because of you I'm scared to talk to this really cool guy who's been nothing but sweet to me because I'm terrified he'll do exactly what you did. You're the reason I'm like this." I say as I feel tears welling in my eyes.

"Really cool guy? Who..?" Haneul asks slowly.

"She's talking about me." I hear and my eyes widen as I turn to see Namjoon standing in the doorway.

Uh..

How does he know where I live?

"And who are you?" Haneul asks as he looks at Namjoon with a look I didn't understand.

"I'm a friend of Y/n and Min." he says as he steps into the house, shutting the door behind him.

"Why did you come here Namjoon?" Min asks with her lips set in a straight line.

There was hella tension in the room radiating off of everyone.

"I told you Min. I won't forget her." he says and I look at Min with furrowed eyebrows.

"What is he talking about?" I ask and she shakes her head.

"Please wait a little longer." Min continues on.

"What is this about? Isn't this guy famous?" Haneul interrupts and everyone looks at him.

"That's not why you're here, asshat." Min snaps as she sends him a death glare.

"Okay, Y/n. I don't know how you claim I ruined you when you said it was okay but-" but I cut him off.

"You really believe that I was okay?" I scoff, on the brink of tears.

"Well, yeah." he says and I lose it.

"How would I be okay after that! You were my everything Haneul! My first kiss, My first love, My first everything! You really led me to believe I could trust you so I did just that. I put my everything into you and our relationship and you broke it. You broke me. How could you do that to a best friend since practically birth! How could you do that to someone you claim to love with all of your heart! You're a heartless person and I'll never forgive you for it, ever. I'll never be the same because of you." I say as the hot tears spill over my cheeks and my breathing becomes heavy and jagged.

He physical broke me and I don't think that kind of damage could ever be fixed.

"Y/n-"

"I hate you." I say through gritted teeth.

"Y/n, I'm sorry." He says and his voice pierces my ears as I cry harder.

He wasn't sorry.

He never was.

"I think you should go." I hear and that's when I remember Namjoon is still there.

He heard everything.

Without another word, Haneul leaves.

Min walks over to me and pulls me into her arms.

"I'm so sorry." she says as she repeats what happened a couple nights ago minus all of the fighting.

"Yeah, me too."
