We finally made it to Texas and boy was it big. There was a lot to see here and there were times where it was a boring drive, but once we got to the city it was amazing. San Antonio was a fun place to be at, The Alamo was interesting and so was the rest of downtown. The mall was amazing! It was fun being here, especially with Blake by my side. We did so much together and it was exciting being with someone who was always positive and down for anything. We spent a few days in San Antonio because of how big it was. The city is too big to explore in one day, and now we are leaving Texas and heading to California.
"Okay so San Antonio was pretty fun." Blake admitted. "Yeah it was!" I exclaimed. We sat and listened to music as we drove through Texas. "So what's your biggest fear?" I asked him. "Well, before you I met you it was never being able to find love or love the right person." "Well what is it now?" "Losing love." "Don't worry about that." I said reassuringly as I reached to hold his hand. "What's yours?" Um I don't really know... I guess just not living a life that I want. Not being happy." "Have you always not been happy?" He asked. "Honestly being with you made me realize I wasn't happy as a kid. Before the scandalous event my dad brought upon us I had a group of friends I loved and things were great, I thought I was happy. Now that I'm with you, I look back at my life and realize how stuck I was. I'm free right now. I told you to take me to Texas and here we are. Back then I did the same thing over and over again. The same routines, same friends, same school, same everything. Now I'm happy. I guess I don't want to lose this happiness." "As long as your with me you will never lose your happiness." I smiled at him and the butterflies that were in my stomach escaped and fluttered through out my whole body. "Do you realize how amazing you are?" I asked. "Eh, i've been told that a few times now." He smirked. I rolled my eyes and laughed at him. "What does your dad do?" I asked. "He owns a bunch of corporations, okay honestly I don't know." He admitted. I laughed at his blushed face. "You don't know what your dad does?" I asked. "He just makes money. I never questioned it." "Okay he could be doing some illegal stuff and then when he dies and you take over whatever he does then you are gonna do illegal stuff. My husband can't be doing illegal stuff." I stated. "Husband?" He raised his eye brow and looked at me. "Oh, well. You know what I mean. Like if I had a husband doing illegal things he can't do them. Not saying you are my husband. We aren't there yet. I'm not pressuring you to propose, I was just speaking and words formed together and I spoke. I'm just gonna look at the window now or pretend to sleep." He laughed at my rambling sentences and I just let the blush on my cheeks grow redder and redder. "I'm just joking with you. But for the record I don't need any pressure." I stared at him with a confused look. "To propose. I don't need any pressure to propose to you." I bit my lower lip and slowly nodded as I tried hiding the smile.
A few hours had passed and we were in New Mexico, and a few hours from Arizona, I could tell Blake was getting tired so I offered to drive. "I have this thing about people driving my car." He admitted. "Oh, so you are one of those people." I said. "Those people?" He questioned. "Yeah those people, well mostly guys, they have a thing about letting girls drive their truck or Jeep, or whatever car they have. It's cool, you be one of those typical guys." I said in a mocking tone. "I'm not one of those guys." He tried convincing. "Well let me drive." I said. "No, I'm not tired." "You yawned about twenty six times in the last ten minutes." I stated. "You counted?" "Well yeah, that was a lot of yawns, I'd be stupid not to count." "That doesn't mean I'm tired." "Uh yeah it does. Unless you have some sort of medial condition that cause you to yawn if you need to use the bathroom, if so I think you should pull over." "I'm fine." He hid a yawn and I just looked at him. "Ugh, fine." He pulled over and got out of the car. I smiled and hopped out of the passenger seat and made my way to the drivers side. "Have you driven before?" He asked. I just stared at him in disbelief. "Sorry, I was just wondering." "Yeah this is my first time. What are the keys for?" I jokingly asked. He rolled his eyes. "You know what D and R mean, right?" "Uh... down and right?" "Not funny." I laughed as I started driving. "Whoa you are a quick learner!" I laughed at his joke.
We were in Arizona now, it was really dark and Blake was still asleep. I was getting tired too but I didn't know if I should stop or not. He always picked out the hotels and I feel like if I pick something it won't be the right one or something. I looked over at a peaceful Blake and gently tapped his shoulder. His beautiful eyes fluttered open and he looked right at me. "Are you okay?" He asked. "I'm tired." He sat up and looked around, "Where are we?" "Arizona. "Did you want me to drive?" He asked. "I wanna sleep, which hotel do we go to?" I asked. "I can drive and when you wake up we'l be in California." He said. "No I wanna lay down in a bed next to you. I wanna wake up next to you and go to California." I said and he smiled at me. "Okay, the next hotel we see pull over and we can see if there are any rooms available." I smiled once I saw a hotel. I pulled in and Blake left to go see if there any rooms available.
We walked in the hotel room and I plopped on the bed. "I am so tired!" I exclaimed. "I'm not." "Oh I wonder why?" I sarcastically asked. I took off my shoes and once I looked up I saw a shirtless Blake, every time I see him shirtless the butterflies in my stomach produce more butterflies and flutter around even more. "See something you like?" He asked with a smirk. I just rolled my eyes and grabbed my clothes to go change. "You can change here if you want." He suggested. "Uh, yeah, no. I don't think you would be able to keep your hands to yourself." "Is that a challenge?" He asked. "No it's a fact." "I can disprove that fact." He challenged. "Nice try." I said as I made my way to the bathroom.
I left the bathroom to see Blake on the bed in nothing but boxer briefs on. I didn't know what to do with my eyes. I just wanted to stare at him but he would notice and I would have to make up some fake medical conjoint about my eyes and then he would know I'm lying cause I'm ridiculous and then he'd use his body against me. But what am I supposed to do? Art is supposed to be appreciated and what I am looking at is a mixture of Picasso and Van Gogh's art work. He looked up to see me staring at him and I quickly looked around the room. "Like the walls?" He joked. "Yeah. Nice structure." I said as I knocked against the wall. I walked over to the bed and got under the covers. "I prefer sleeping with out shorts or pants. I feel more comfortable. If you aren't comfortable with that just let me know." He said. "No it's fine. I know what you mean, I love sleeping in nothing but big t-shirts." I admitted. "Yet hear you are in pajamas shorts and a small t-shirt." He observed. "I'm not gonna strip naked for you." "I just want you comfortable." He said. "I know." He turned off the light and we both got comfortable in bed. I laid on my back and he laid on his side and stared at me. My eyes adjusted to the darkness of the room and I noticed he was just staring at me. "Something on my face?" "Yeah. A ton of beauty." He answered. Well I wasn't expecting that answer. "Have I told you have beautiful you are? Like really, you are so beautiful and adorable and I love you." He said. I giggled and laid on my side to look at him. "You're charming. I remember when I first laid eyes on you I could tell how handsome you were. We had a large distance between us and I noticed that you were absolutely perfect. I'm so close to you right now and it amazes me that you are so hot." We laughed and he put his arm around my waist. I scooted closer to him and kissed him. "I love your lips." He whispered. I smiled as I pressed another kiss against his lips. "I love everything about you." "I love you too. I love everything about you. I absolutely adore you." He smiled as he kissed me. I ran my hands through his hair and he did that same to me. We got closer but our lips separated. "I just want you to hold me." I admitted. "Okay." He held my closer and I laid my head down and closed me eyes. "Goodnight." He whispered. "Goodnight." I responded before I dozed off.
