I woke up and looked at the clock to see that it was 2:30 in the morning. I slowly and quietly got up and made my way to the balcony. I leaned against the railing and stared at the lights and cars driving by. The view was absolutely amazing, this trip was absolutely amazing, and Blake was absolutely amazing. I had to admit though that his dreams and mine don't go well together. I shouldn't really worry about it, we aren't officially together, therefore I shouldn't be planning our future together. I heard the door slide open behind me and I felt Blake's presence come near. "You okay?" he whispered into my ear. He sent chills down my spine and I smiled as his body that was so close to mine kept me warm. "Yeah, I just woke up and I decided to come out side. Are you okay?" I asked. "I guess I can't sleep without you by my side." I turned around to face him, "You're so cheesy. I love it." I planted my lips against his and his hands dropped to my waist. Our lips separated and he looked up to view the skyline. "It's amazing how there is so much life right now at two in the morning." I said. I turned back around. "Yeah, it kind of makes you wanna be apart of that life." "Everywhere we've been to I just think about how secluded I was. Being home before dinner was a must, I couldn't do anything on my own. Now I'm in LA. It's two in the morning and I'm staring at a bunch of lights and cars and people just living their life." I smiled as the breeze hit against my face and I noticed Blake walking away. I turned round to see him sitting on a chair and I joined him.

"We would travel every summer, LA, New York, Seattle, Paris, London, some place in Greece, Italy. I've been just about everywhere, and yet I still felt trapped. I think it depends on who you are with that deciphers whether or not you are a trapped. Regardless of where we went it was the same thing over and over again. We would travel, my dad and mom would go eat dinner together, they would get in a fight and my mom would come home alone. We wouldn't see my dad until the day we were supposed to go back home. We would get home and everything would be normal again." He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. "I'm sorry." "Don't be, unless you caused the fights my parents went through." "I just know that you want a different life, I'm sorry you had to go through that." I said. "I'm not. I think all of that made me a better person. I realized what not do with someone I'm supposed to love." He stared at me then continued, "I remember looking into your eyes for the first time. My world stopped and you managed to become my world. I know you still questions all of this, and honestly I do to. I never imagined that I would see someone in the streets and fall in love. I never imagined asking anyone to run away with me when we first met.I never imagined any of this. But I swear, once I met you, I saw a future." My heart couldn't handle it, he was the sweetest person I had ever met in my entire life. I just stared at him as he talked about me and I could tell he truly loved me. I could tell that he meant every single word that he spoke and the feelings he feels are genuine. "When I'm with you I don't feel trapped. I feel like I can do anything, go anywhere and be anyone." I sat there staring at him and I was reading his expressions. Love was written across his forehead and I smiled, he stood up and grabbed my hand, "Let's go." I stood up and noticed he was getting dressed. "Wait, it's 2 in the morning, where are we going?" I asked. "Get dressed." He  ordered. "But Blake, we can't go out. It's too late." "If people can be out then we can too." I dropped my robe and realized I was naked in front of Blake. I quickly turned around to see if he was staring at me, and he was. He wore a big stupid grin and I glared at him as I quickly rummaged through my bag to find a sweatshirt. "Stop gawking." I put on leggings and shoes and walked up to Blake who still wore that stupid grin. "Yeah, you saw me naked, get over it." "You have an amazing body." he complimented. I turned around and hid my blush, "Shut up." I left the room and headed towards the elevator  with Blake behind me.

"Okay, so where are we going?" I asked for the millionth time. We were in his car for about ten minutes now and I still had now clue what was going on. "You'll see." "Or you can tell me and I can imagine it in my head." "Or you can wait a few minutes and see with your eyes, then we go back to the hotel you can dream about it." I scoffed and crossed my arms across my chest.

A few moments later I saw the water, "We're going to the beach?" I asked. "Yeah." He drove onto the sand and parked. We both got and met in front of his car. "Want ice cream?" He asked. "Yeah!" I exclaimed as if I was five. He laughed and grabbed my hand we made our way to a ice cream stand. We both got but cones and made our way to the beach. "This ice cream is really good." I said. "Mhmm. My mom would take me here when I was younger. I love it." He put one arm around my shoulders and we slowly walked to the water. "You're crazy, you know that?" I asked. He laughed and asked, "Why?" "Um because it's three in the morning, we are eating ice cream and walking on the beach." "Don't forget to mention we are eating the ice cream in the water." "What?" I noticed that we were heading straight to the water and I stopped walking. "Oh,  come one Lexie, let's go! Are you scared of water or something?" He asked. "No! I just don't have a bathing suit." I said. "Neither do I." I just stared at him with a disapproving look. "Fine then, suit yourself." He  ran into the water  and started playing around the water. I smiled at him and his care free self. "Come on!" He shouted. "It's fun!" "Oh, alright." I ran straight into the water and Blake grabbed onto my waist and pulled my in for a kiss.

We spent a few minutes running around and jumping in the water. We eventually stopped chasing each other and stood there with our knees in the water as we continued eating our ice cream. "Oh hey, a bonfire." I turned towards the direction Blake was looking at and saw a few people surrounding a huge fire pit. "It looks so warm." I stated. "Let's go." Uh Blake! We don't know them!" He laughed and grabbed my hand, "You worry too much." I rolled my eyes and followed Blake who made his way to the group. As we approached a few people kept their eyes on us. "Hey, we were wondering if we could join. It's a little cold out tonight. "Blake spoke. "We were actually leaving, this fire is gonna last a while so it's all yours." A tall brunette said. "Oh thanks!" Blake said. The group gathered their items and left. Before the last person left she turned and gave me a blanket, "Here, keep it." I smiled and thanked her. Blake and I sat down near the fire and cuddle under the blanket.

"You know, I actually don't know your full name." I looked up at Blake who was staring into the fire. "It's cause you never asked. Keep in mind I don't know yours either." "True, but it's crazy how we are across the country together and we don't know each others names." I laughed. "Blake Matthew Henry." "I like it. You look like Blake Matthew Henry." "Do I?" He mockingly asked. "Yes, you very much do." he laughed at my horrible British accent. "What about you?" "Lexie Marie Johnson." "What was your favorite subject in school?" he asked. "None! I hate school, I mean passed all my classes but only because I had to." "Yeah that's how I was. School was never my thing, I was just there for the friends." "Do you like s'mores?" I asked. "I love s'mores." "Me too." I happily said. He laughed and held me closer. "I love sitting by the water, next to a fire, especially with you by my side." I smiled and kissed his cheek. "What are we doing next?" I asked. "I don't know. Is there a place you had in mind?" He asked. "No, I'm fine wherever." He nodded and continued staring into the fire. I watched him as the light from the fire lit up his face. The way his skin looked against the fire light, his eyes looked so peaceful. I was in love with him.

"I was trying to think of the perfect words to say tonight." I looked up at Blake who started speaking. "I wanted what I said to be perfect that you can quote it and never forget it, but I can't make something up so quickly, so here I go." He exhaled deeply. " I don't know how, but it happened. Us. We happened. We met, and I know we instantly fell in love. It's one of those crazy, intense, super rare loves. I never believed in love at first sight, until it was I saw you. It was like everything feel right into place and all it took was for me to approach you. So I did and here we are. I could tell from the moment I met you I wanted you to be mine. I want you to forever be mine. The thought of losing you kills me. I know it's crazy because we've only been together for a month now and we can't possible be so in love, but I feel as if we spent an eternity together, got lost, and found each other. I want you, I need you, I choose you." My heart started beating rapidly and tears fell down my cheek. "I want us to be a forever couple, I want us to be a couple first and I guess that's what I'm trying to ask. I'm not good at doing this stuff only because I've never had to do this before. Lexie, you make me feel like a lost puppy who needs you to survive. I need you and I know you need me." He reached to grab my cheek and wiped away a tear. I was crying at how beautiful his words were. "Blake, you make me feel as if there is no one else here. You bring out this side of me that I could've never imagined to exist. All of this is unbelievable, crazy, strange, yet it feels so right. I want you so bad it's crazy." "Does this mean that we are official?" he asked. I smiled and nodded. Blake kissed me and laid me down to the ground as he hovered over me. We kissed for what seemed like eternity but every kiss was bliss. It was pure bliss.
