Gerard's POV:

We're all gathered at my house, while Frank continues to explain his project idea.

"Well, seeing as none of us are really.... Good at physics, we don't have anything for a project, correct?"

We all nod our heads in agreement, with collective sighs and 'yeah's.

"So, we don't do a project... Necessarily," he continues with a wide smirk plastered on his face.

"What are you talking about?" Mikey sighs.

"I'm talking about this," he walks over to the couch, "I'm touching the couch, correct?"

We nod our heads, "How does this help us pass and get a good grade on our project?" I ask curiously, I mean... He's really confusing me.

"I am correct, but I'm also wrong," he states, his smirk only getting bigger.

"You never answered my question, and now we're all getting even more confused!"

"Just wait, Gerard. I am touching it, but not in physics terms, like I said, we're going to be smart asses about this project. Ms. Ballato told us that if you're touching something, it's also touching you. BUT. I also heard her say that when you're 'touching' something you're not technically touching it, you're touching the atoms on it," he walks over to Mikey, "so, we don't create anything, we touch her... Desk, and tell her that we're touching it, but we're not. It's touching us, but it's not."

"How long did it take you to figure this out?" Ray asks in shock, I mean, let's face it, Frank isn't the smartest.

"About ten minutes. I went over some things in my mind that I heard her say, and I put them together to form something that she won't expect. I mean, she is probably already expecting some smart ass project, which she's correct about. But I know she isn't expecting some smart ass plan that is also correct," he says and pats Ray on the 'fro.

He walks over to fridge proudly and digs out some soda, "I'm a genius!"

I shake my head, "We are so going to fail," I mutter under my breath.

"Well, she can't fail us for being right," Mikey says in reply.

"She can fail us for not having an actual project, though."

He sighs, "Just... Do you have anything better?"

"No, but we need to actually find something, I don't know about you, but I don't really feel like doing physics a third year," I say with an exasperated tone.

He nods and walks over to Frank, grabbing a soda from his hands.

I shake my head once more and head down to my room, why do I have to suck at education?

*~*

"Gerard! Come up and get some dinner!" Mikey calls down the stairs.

"Not hungry!"

"Just come upstairs," he orders.

I sigh and go upstairs, "Ray and Frank still here?"

"Yeah, now get food before they eat it all."

I walk to the kitchen and well, a smile forms on my lips, a smirk if I may. Frank had his back to me, getting some pizza from the box. I just took this as an opportunity, a chance. I walk quietly over to the preoccupied Frank and wrap my arms around his waist. He let out a surprised squeak and grabs at my forearms, "Let go!"

"Come on, Frankie," I beg, "I just wanna talk."

"I don't, I wanna eat," he protests, squirming in my firm grasp.

"We can eat and talk," I suggest, trying to get him to agree.

"Gerard, please," he tries to reason, "I already told you, I just... I'm not going to jump back into your arms."

"You're making a big deal over nothing," I whisper in his ear, sending a trail of shivers down his back.

That infuriated him, "Really?! Am I really, Gerard?! Nothing! You think that was nothing?!" He puts a huge emphasis on 'nothing', "It wasn't! Not even close! It was everything."

"Everything? Seriously, Frank?"

"It was big deal if it made me, the one who's loved you since seventh fucking grade, to break up with you! Now. Let. Me. Go!" He yells and tries to pry my arms off of him.

"Gerard, please, just let him go," Mikey cuts in, using a soft tone, "you don't always have to get what you want, just let him go."

"I want to talk to him!"

"I don't want to talk to you!"

"Gerard, let Frank talk when he's ready to."

I sigh and loosen my grip, "Fine..." Then completely slacken it and let my arms fall to my sides.

"I'll see you on Monday, Gerard," Frank says and walks angrily out of the house.

"Gerard, you won't have a boyfriend if you keep trying to force him to talk to you, let Frank decide, it'll be better for the both of you," Mikey says and walks to the living room to sit with Ray.

I sigh and grab a piece of pizza and head down to my room, I want a relationship like their's, they haven't fought, that I'm aware of, spend loads of time together, get along great... Then again, one of them wasn't the other's bully...
