"It seems like we are going to stay a bit longer." The blond teen, doused by the rain, turns his head to the jet-black hair girl. The girl stares at them, keeping herself high alert to these strangers. She sat on a wooden chair away from the four strangers as her eyes glimmers in the darkness. The other three mages shivers under that cold glares, while the blond teen watches her without any fear. He remains the same calm face and starts to take steps towards the girl.
Thump. The girl's eyes narrows and her eyes glow brighter. She let out a hiss as a warning sign.
Thump. The girl has magical book hug tightly. Her hiss becomes louder as she starts to back away.
Thump. That's it!! You can come any closer. The girl has one of her hands out as she knee on the ground. She already thought for a spell to swish them away from her. She glares at the blondie whose face remain unchanging. The blond boy take notice of her alerts, but decided to ignore it.
Thump. "Water bullets." With her whispered spell, water started gather around her.
"WAOHH!!"
"What is happening?!?!"
"LAXUS!!!!!!!"
Raindrops bussed in to the room in accelerate speed as they are about to slash across the blonde. The boy quickly avoids it with his head turn to the side. He avoids another one with a flip back. The attack finally stopped when the girl have a barrier around her. Laxus finally let out a sigh and turn towards the girl.
"What the heck? I was just thinking that you may be cold just in a piece of dirty cloth, so I'm leaning you my jacket." He held out a black jacket on his left hand. The girl hesitated. Of course she's cold and she's not allowed be around the fireplace that long since she will be evaporated. She doesn't have any dry clothes, due to her clothes are left in her burnt house, which were no longer to be wear.
"So you want it?" Laxus stood in the same place where he was before the attack. The girl bit her lips and released the protection barrier. She reached out for the jacket, but Laxus stepped foot forward which cause her to squeak backwards.
"You-Baka!" Eh? Suddenly she felt something hit her hard, her vision slowly darken when she last seen the blond boy had a nervous face on.
~at the streets of the Kingdom of Fiore~
"Now where should I go now?" Jamie looks around the area with her dazzling eyes. Preparations for the Harvest festival have already started. People flood around the magnolia town as the festival attract a lot of people to watch. Within this time, the lazy Jaime wanders around the streets with a lollipop in her mouth. Her mind is clouded with thoughts of a certain blond haired thunder lord when she heard the incident that happens in fairy tail with the rivalry guild, Phantom Lord. New members have joined and the guild building was rebuild. However, the conversation between Mira and Laxus had truly saddened her.
"Serve the old gag right!! doesn't have anything do with me. Handle it yourselves. After all, it's that old man start the war. Why do I be the one who bails him out? Oh, and remember to tell the old man to hurry up and retire. So that I can take over his position as master. HAAHAHAHAA"
Worries had been buzzing her for these few days.
Why does he say those this? Does he doesn't care anymore?Where did they go? Are they still safe? What if they are injured? I want to see them.
A sudden tighten sensation on her heart as she grabs her chest to calm the tightness.
She remembered that day, the day that they left her. That day she cried in the warm of Mira's hugs. That day he told her how he feels about her for all those years. That day that her heart is broken from his words. They are not lovers, but they are a family. She closed her eyes to clear her thoughts. It's been weeks since she last saw them, even they ignored her for years, she still wishes to see them safe.

Jamie continued her road down to the central park of the town. Families and kids are sitting on the road chatting, having a good time. She sat on the bench, resting from all those walking she had done. At the end, she wishes to see him. Even though how much times that he throw her an annoyed, hateful look, she's still want to see him. Suddenly a flash of light shone in the middle of the day.
What was that? Magic? and that magic...... Lightning?!!
Fed up her own curiosity, she turns her head towards the park central, the gigantic oak tree. Rapid heartbeat and nervous sweats, she opens her eyes with astonishment. In front, she stands five young figures. In her eyes, Jet, Droy, and Levy have their shocked faces on Gajeel's action. The bright yellow magic is about to hit Levy when Gajeel materialized his hand as steel to attract the sources to himself. Gajeel is deeply wounded while the other three look at him, worried. Jamie turns to the source of the person who hit him with lighting. With a stunned expression, Jamie has her eyes widen.
"Laxus...." He's back!!! Is he here to see me?
A sudden urge to wrap her hands around the bright-hair S-class mage and welcome him back to fairy tail, however, Jamie didn't take action. She stood there while Laxus continue his way towards her. Her eyes spotted the flaming hatred in his eyes, the loathing expression on his face, and the clutching hands that was tightened with detestation, enmity, and abhorrence. As his eyes sending daggers to the fairy tail members, his family. Jamie immediately realized something.
Ah...He hates to come back, I guess.....
Her eyes meet Laxus' as he drops an annoyed face towards the black haired girl. His foot drops like a rock crashing onto the floor. Jamie flinched from Laxus' attitude, she didn't move until Laxus stood in front of her, glazing her frozen figure. Instead of the warm smiles and a hand wave, Laxus just give her a disgusted stare and his old husky voice with five words coming out from his mouth.
"Stop blocking the way, weakling." Not bother stopping for her to move away, he walks passes Jamie with his shoulder bumps towards Jamie's shoulder as she is pushed aside. Laxus continues his way, not even looking back at the poor kid on the floor. As he walks away from the scene, Jamie pats away the dust on her pants and stare at his shadow with sadness as the shadow slowly disappearing from the horizon. She then stares at the ground with a weak smile as a whisper comes out from her lips.
