Chapter 25: Quin Heartfilia

The Third person's pov

"I have found you, Jamie."

Laxus!

Jamie had arrived at the capital, Her eyes were captive by the nostalgic sight of a blond-haired man with bolded eyebrows and brown eye. Tears were starting to form on the corner of her eyes, yet unable to let them out because of the reason of her disguise.

I missed you......Laxus...

"I-I'm sorry. You have recognized to the wrong person." Slightly lowered her head, she whispered with force, standing strong in front of the crush she had longed for. It's just an admiration at first. His firmed figure and cool demeanor, he caught a lot of girl's attention. When he rejected her from joining the Thunder God Trible, saying she just a weakling, she came back into the guild crestfallen and a broken heart. Her mind was telling her that she should despise his attitude towards herself, hatred should be boiling within her heart, yet she wasn't able to bring herself hating Laxus. That feeling had made her thinking the reason behind her feelings, soon after she heard the disappearance of Thunder God Tribe and the abrupt stop of Laxus' letter being sent to the guild, she felt she's more nervous, anxious about Laxus then the Thunder God Tribe. It's not like she hates or doesn't feel anything about the disappearance of the Thunder God Tribe, but she's able to tell the difference of the feeling of the two.

"Is it Love?" Memories went back to the young Jamie, who still a Fairy Tail Mage, doesn't understand the feeling and questioned this to Laki, nature mage. Laki returned the question with another question with a smile.

"Love?" Jamie suspiciously questioned with Laki nodded her head.

"The feeling towards the Thunder God Tribe is a family love. The love that a family process, which is also similar to friend's love. Yet, you mentioned the feeling towards this certain person is different from what you had ever felt before. This feeling is also one kind of love, the love towards this certain person is irreplaceable and unique. This love is deeper than anything that you had felt before and only that person made you had this feeling. You might have a pounding heart, acting weirdly over this person or even getting nervous around them based on the type of person of you, yet the most important part is that certain person always in your head, thinking about her(because Laki thought Jamie is a boy) everyday at anytime." Laki explained it with a kind voice and gestures to explain the feeling. Nodding to the answer, Jamie starting pondering through the explanation.

Wait.... I had been thinking of Laxus all the time and worried for him in these month........does that mean?!

"What happened, Jamie?" Laki questioned the abnormal appearance happening towards the teen, feeling profuse blood raising up to her cheeks, froze with her eyes widen. Macao who heard the conversation, smirked and laughed.

"So it's spring time for Jamie, huh?"

"NO! IT'S NOT!!"

She knew that her feelings wouldn't be returned since Laxus wouldn't fall for a person whose seven years younger than him. Besides, there's a lot of beauties around him, such as Mira and Cana, who are obviously single and childhood friends of Laxus. He would most likely to choose them over her. Camouflaged her feeling, she decided to work her to become a better family for the Thunder God Tribe, not a lover of Laxus.

"No way! I'm not going to let you slip away like this Jamie!"

"I-I'm not Jamie, so please let go." Tightening his grip, Laxus hold Jamie close to himself refusing to let her go while Jamie is struggling, resisting Laxus from looking onto her face. The struggle continues until a voice astounded to both of their ears.

"Laxus!!! There you are." A man with his signature mint hair walked towards the lighting dragon slayer. Distracted by the leader of the Thunder God Tribe, Jamie quickly took the chance, forcefully remove her hands from the firm grip of the lighting beast and backed away from him.

"M-My name is Quin Heartfelia! W-Who are you calling me jamie?!" Slightly glared at the blond haired man, her heart was praying for Laxus not to found out her identity, saddened the fact that she wasn't allow to exposed her identity in a moment. A frown was plastered on Laxus face, irritated at the girl who didn't give in to the Dragon slayer.

"She might have already gotten a boyfriend and having some much fun at night together-"

The situation that Mira suggests was rapidly echoing in his head which made Laxus' eyebrows twitched and clutched his fist tightly as the irritation, angry kept boiling up within him, as if it was ready to exposed in any minute.The progressive feeling towards the Jamie grew stronger each day that Laxus couldn't hardly control himself. A pat on his shoulder pulled Laxus back to reality.

"Laxus, are you calling her that brat?" Bickslow, who had a hand on Laxus' shoulder lifted his eyebrows as he walked closer to the girl.

Shit! Why are you here, Bickslow!

The man with a dark helmet on his head curiously stared to Jamie who just declared herself as a Quin, her disguise self. He lend his head towards the woman as his eyes glows green and smiled meekly.

Why did I forgot that Bickslow can see through people's souls!!!

Another blink of his eyes, the luminary eyes were turned to his usual brown eyes. He turned towards to Laxus with a mischievous smile.

Oh no! He's going to tell Laxus about my identity!?!!

Nervously shut her eyes, she was anxious about the dissolution of the speech.

"Laxus, you missed Jamie that much made you recognise every single black-haird girl is Jamie?"

Eh?

Aghast at the abrupt question, Jamie was frozen at the speech of the puppet user. On the other hand, Laxus clicked his tongue and put his hand on the pockets.

"So she'a not her, right?"

"Yea, you jumped into the conclusion so quickly."

Smiling childishly, Bickslow pointed out Laxus' mistake with Laxus staring back at Jamie, whose shivered under his glance as if his glance are sending holes to her body. Laxus' irritated face mellowed down to an apologetic expression, slightly guilty at the rough actions that he took.

"......Sorry for bothering you, woman."

"It's fine, Laxus-san. Please called me Quin."

Smiling innocuously, Jamie acted normally while she could hear her heart beat quickly. She held out a hand and Laxus, who had a small smile, gripped gently on the delicate hands.

"Nice to meet you, Quin. We should get going."

Turning away from Jamie, Laxus quicken his steps, slightly embarrassed that he had misunderstood the woman into Jamie.

Why am I so anxious about meeting her? Don't tell me that-

He remembered the phrase that Bickslow had said and an abrupt felling of heat raising to his face with the face was painted with red, unconsciously accelerated his walking speed.

"Oi, Laxus! Wait for me!"

"You guys are walking too fast!!"

The two other Mage, one rune Mage and a woman with green reveal clothing quickly caught up and trailing behind Laxus. Jamie, who just stood with a innocuous smile, let out a relief sigh at she had overcomes the crisis-

"So are you willing to tell me the reason that you had lied, Jamie?"
