"YOU ARE JAMIE?"
Unconscious reaction towards the woman's disclaims, Juvia was astonished at the reveal of her identity. She couldn't believe the young girl had grown into such a fine woman, holding no resemblance towards her younger self. However, when Juvia took a closer look, her facial structure remains the same, it was the overall atmosphere surrounding her made her seems different. When Jamie replied with a childish smile, Juvia could see the resemblance of the younger Jamie, the Jamie that they used to know.
It had really past seven years.
Sensitive towards Jamie's transformation, Juvia felt a sting within her heart as she saw the difference of the young and matured. The bright aqua blue had darken, filtered with a layer of dark sapphire blue, as if it was reflecting the growth of the woman. The innocent credulous within her heart were flourished with sagacious and determination. Juvia could tell that Jamie had been through a lot of thing throughout those seven years. She can still see some vivid scars on her arms, as if they were symbolised the harsh experience that she had been. Though for Juvia and Gray, it might seems seven years had pass with a blink of an eye, the people in the outside world had experience, grown and changed throughout those seven years. Juvia felt conflicted when she saw Jamie again, as she don't know how she could start speaking. The Jamie in front of her was too different from the Jamie that she had known. She wearily smile at the harsh truth displayed in front of her.
Yet a fellow guildmate is also a fellow comrade.
"You sure have grown old now huh, Jamie?"
Gray, on the opposite spectrum, had grinned brightly as he approached Jamie. He put his hand on top of Jamie's head, ruffling the soft texture of Jamie's hair. Jamie pouted like a chipmunk, annoyed at Gray's reaction to her fabulous transformation.
"I'm still twenty-one! Why are still treating me like a child when I'm three years older than you!?"
"Well~ My impression of you still remains at the fourteen year old brat. And if you tell me to start treating you as a senior, it's impossible to change my attitude abruptly."
Gray continues to ruffle Jamie's purple hair despite Jamie complains. His smile remains the warmth that he had seven years ago.
"Besides, you are still Jamie Quintana right? What's the difference between the old Jamie and the current Jamie? Other than your appearance, there's nothing changed right?"
Gray-sama.......
Juvia who struggling to find a way to greet Jamie, felt a sense of relief when she saw Gray treated Jamie the same as it was seven years ago. The pain that had clutched in her chest was released as her weary smile was flourished to a warm smile. She then approached Jamie with her usual cheerful attitude.
"Gray-sama is right. Your childish side had never change, Jamie."
As expected of Gray-sama! He really understands Juvia a lot!!
Discern the change of atmosphere around Juvia, Jamie held a gentle smile. However it was quickly replaced with another puerile pout, acting as if she didn't notice anything different.
"Hmph~ Juvia and Gray are such meanies!! I'm technically older than you guys, you know? And what with this treatment? I was about to treat your wounds and this is how you are going to treat me?"
Continue her annoyed acting, Jamie then turned away and walked to Melody and Lyon.
"Mo~shiranai!"
With her pouted expression, she took out bottles of blue elixers and small pills, treating the two mage. As the plugs of the bottles opened, Jamie's blue eyes slowly glows in purple. Melody and Lyon were frozen as they saw Jamie's eyes. The elixirs then flows as two water spheres in the air beside Jamie, presenting herself rather a intimidating figure. Along with her hand directions, the elixirs flows towards Melody and Lyon as it enveloped the two's wounds and bruises. The two mages' body glows in light green, slowly feeling their drained energy were returning while the elixirs were absorbs into their body. With the support of the elixirs, the wounds and bruises are recovering in an accelerating speed. The process had only took a few seconds until the wounds and bruises were completely healed.
"Wow! What have you done?!"
"The bruises and wounds were gone within a second!!"
Bewildered by the Jamie's skills, Gray and Juvia stared at Jamie as she continued to heal the other two with concentrated expression. Her eyes gleamed in purple as she turned to Gray and Juvia. Surprised by the abrupt changing eye color, Juvia gasped in amazement as Gray stood frozen. With her stoic tone, she raised the tension surrounding them.
"Gray, Juvia. Come over."
Hearing the their names were spoken, Juvia and Gray hesitantly moved forward to the purple haired woman. She took out two more bottles and unplugged them. The elixirs raised from the bottles and formed a sphere above her hands. Jamie then directed the elixirs spheres to the two fairy tail mages as the liquid obediently follows jamie's directions, enveloping the two fairy tail members. The healing process didn't took long as Gray and Juvia continued to feel impressed with Jamie's current skills. As they were trying to ask about her eyes change, another figure had appeared beside Jamie.
"There's only a few small dragons left around the area, Master."
Minerva, who went to scout the area when defeating the dragons, landed next to Jamie and reported the result of her scouting. Jamie then nodded as her retreated her hands, ending the healing session. Yet feeling slightly annoyed at the way that Minerva address her, she pouted her lips and turned to Minerva.
"Why are you calling me 'master' now when you always just address me directly?"
"Well, it's not like the others had known your other identity yet, Sabertooth Nidame Guildmaster."
"GUILDMASTER?!"
"JAMIE!! SINCE WHEN HAVE YOU BEEN THAT STRONG?!"
The four mage felt flabbergasted by the information that Minerva had just announced. Gray and Juvia then remember the gloom atmosphere around Sting when talking about Nidame Guilsmaster.
"Our Nidaime guildmaster, Jamie-san past away a few months ago."
"Jamie-san was our guildmaster a few months ago. She's the person that teaches our guild how it's alright to have emotions and the only guild master that treats everyone equally. Yet....."
"So you are the Sabertooth's mysterious guildmaster."
Lyon whose behind Jamie and Minerva, interrupt the conversation as Lyon and Melody slowly approached the others from behind.
"Mysterious?"
"Yea. You guys might have know about this, but Sabertooth is well-known to be a brutal and merciless guild, yet when the first Guildmaster was replace, the guildmates had become more nice and didn't have that kind of arrogance towards other guilds. It's seems that the new guildmaster was determined make a change within the guild, which later she was nominated to be one of the ten elites and one of the strongest healers within the country. She was well-know to have this mysterious vibe around her as she always have a hooded cape over her head. There's some information that shown that Jamie was the strongest and the youngest guildmaster as her strength is almost equal or superior than the Jura in our guild. Technically, no one had really seen her face. Well, until now at least...."
The four mages turned to look at Jamie with stupefied expressions. Jamie just returned the looks with a guiltless smile, which make Gray and Juvia felt a chill on their back.
She have the same strength as that old man (Jura) and the guild master of Sabertooth that was known to be the strongest guild as they had been winning the Grand Magic Games for years......
Scratching the back of his head, Gray let out a sympathetic sigh. He still remembers the boyish girl having a chase fight with Natsu and laughed at her victory for successfully stealing Natsu's food.
Seven years had make her changed that much.
