Chapter 23: Blood Relative

The Third person's POV

"Lucy! We had come to play!!!" A pink haired boy with his usual wild nature and toothy smile climbed up from the opened window beside the bed and sat on the bed as if nothing odd happened. Lucy was surprised, screamed out loud as she pulled the two, specifically one cat and one dragon slayer Mage, off her bed.

"YOU TWO!!! WHY ARE YOU GUYS HERE!!?"

"Huh? We always come here through the window, it's nothing very weird right, Happy?"

"Ai! What's the rush, Lucy?"

"At least come in through the door, not the window, please. Wait, that's not the point!" She annoyingly pulled the two brats to the door while the two let her being pulled.

I can't let them find out Jamie is here with me! I promise her not to let anyone know!

"Lucy-nee? What's with the noise?" When Lucy almost pulled the two out of the room, the girl with her bobbed black hair and brown hazel eyes walked out of the bathtub with a towel around her socked wet body. Embarrassed at her figure, she blushed into different shades of red, screaming with her body dropped down to the floor with both hands covering her shameful body. Natsu, on the other hand, stared at her with a blush across his face. Lucy, who realized its an act, immediately reacted with a slap on Natsu's head, preventing Natsu constantly staring at the woman with only a towel over her body. She grabbed Happy's tail to prevent him to fly higher to get a better view of Jamie's body.

"Natsu! Stop staring at my cousin!!!!! You too, Stupid Cat!!"

"Cousin?" Natsu with a evident pump on his head sat on the chair, staring intensively on the black haired girl and the same hazel eyes while the girl herself placed a shy smile on her face. Lucy, who quickly introduced her to the intruder/pervant, smiled at the detailed planning of Jamie's cover.

"Yea, She's my cousin, Quin Heartfilia. She's going to give me back something that was precious to my father since they worked for a few months before Quin travels around the country." Lucy smiled brightly as Quin/Jamie put on a shy act, bowed towards the pink haired boy, acting frustrated towards strangers.

"N-Nice t-to meet y-you, N-Natsu-san. I-I'm Q-Quin H-Heartfilia. I-I w-will a-apologized on my s-shameless appearance just now." Natsu nodded as he placed a guileless smile.

"Don't worry. I have seen a lot from your cousin." A blush crept up from Quin's cheeks, as she covered her lips with both of her hands, preventing the two in front of her seeing her smirk underneath those hand. On the other hand, Lucy immediately reacted to the statement as her cheeks were bright red and another hit on Natsu's head.

"HEYY! DON'T SAY IT THAT WAY! IT WILL MAKE PEOPLE MISUNDERSTOOD!!!!"

"Pttfuu~ They are together~" Happy, the blue cat smirked as both of his hands on his mouth, preventing a chuckle to escape.

"NO!! WE ARE NOT!"

"Lucy-nee, I never knew that you are already had a man, more or less he made you his woman. I'm proud! Uncle would be congratulating your happiness in heaven!!" She quickly turned to Lucy with her widen pupils and tears forming at the corner of her eyes, acting as if she's crying with joy.

"QUINN!! WE AREN'T EVEN TOGETHER!!!"

"Well, at least she doesn't get naked in public like you did. (reference on the movie Pheonix)"

"UGH!!! NATSU THAT'S AN UNCONTROLLABLE SITUATION!!!!"

"YOU GOT NAKED IN PUBLIC BEFORE!? (sobbing) L-Lucy-nee, I-I never knew that you can be this shameless when it comes to your body. You need to take care your body..."

"YOU GUYS JUST SHUT UP!!!"

"Grand Magics Game? What is that?" After some chats with the pink haired dragon slayer, Quin was relieved that the young mage had not changed as if she's still in the guild seven years ago. Yet she always reminded herself that she's no longer a mage with magic as her magic was sealed with along with seal on her back. Every single action that she took was no longer from the Raquan clan's mage, Jamie Quintana, but an average girl with no magic, a blood relative to Lucy, Quin Heartfilia. She mentally sighed at the disappointment at the current situation, acting as if she's clueless on everything to prevent any suspicious.

"Yea and we are joining this year!" Natsu smiled brightly, gripping his hands into a fist tightly as if he's determined to bring honor to his guild.

"But I thought that you guys aren't joining because of the constant losing of the games. I mean your master, Macao announce that you guys aren't joining?"

"We are joining and we are going to win this! We will show them what Fairy tail is! You just watch!!!"

"Aye!/Oh!!" Following Natsu's gestures, Lucy and Happy raised their fist, bound to win the Grand Magic Game this year and bring back the honor that was lost in seven years. Quin who stare at them with surprise mellowed into a benevolent smile. Feeling somehow nostigua, she watches the two seventeen years old mages and an exceed, memories of seeing herself and the Thunder God Trible overwhelmed as she silently wiped away the invisible tear on the corner of her eyes.

I'm glad that you are all back safe and sound.

Clapping her hands together to catch the three mage attention, she spoke with a soft yet perceptible voice.

"Good Luck, I will be cheering for all of you!"
