"Woah, calm down." A female voice said gently.

"Who are you?!" I demand.

"My name is Jay. I just wanted to see if it was true." She whispered.

She slowly approached me, showing herself in the light. She had dark black hair and dark blue eyes. Her face was sliming and she was roughly 5'10". Her hand slowly approached my face, but I grabbed her wrist and flipped her onto the ground.

"I'm not here to hurt you." She struggles.

I notice a small budge on the side of her pants and quickly flip her onto her stomach and hold her hands together in a hold.

"Then why do u have a gun?" I ask pulling it out of her pants.

"It's my firearm I take it everywhere. I swear I'm not here to harm you." Jay tells me.

"Then why did you break into my dorm room at 3am?!" I nearly yell.

Suddenly I am on my back and Jay is on top of me. I kick her forwards and flip on top of her, but she grabs my hair and throws me into the wall.

"Shut up." She says choking me.

"This is actually kind of hot." A male voice says from behind us.

"Who are you?" Jay says in an almost flirty tone.

"Get off of her and you'll live to hear." Cade says appearing in the light.

Jay immediately releases me and I lunge for her, but Cade jumps in my way.

"Down, demon girl." Cade warns.

"So, who are you?" Jay asks.

"Cade Johnson, why are you in Sam's room?" Cade asks putting out his arm.

She takes it and shakes it.

"I wanted to see if she really was the prophecy, but I was wrong. She can't even protect herself. Unless you're her protector which is why you are here." Jay puts together.

"Go to bed, Sam." Cade orders pointing to my dorm room.

"I'm not your damn kid, Cade. Why does this bitch know all that?" I demand shoving him off of me.

"Because I just do. Now show my your hip." Jay orders.

"Bite me." I snap at her.

"Would you calm down?" Cade asks with a frustrated tone.

"What's going on out here?" Hazel asks appearing in the doorway.

"I'm Jay Thornton." Jay says putting out her arm.

"Hazel Diamond." Hazel introduces herself shaking the girls hand.

"Sam? You okay?" Hazel asks.

"Everyone's acting like this is okay... SHE just broke into our dorm trying to see my waist band to tell if I was the prophecy. Not to mention she has a gun in her waist band, and a knife in her sock." I announce.

"You're good, Sam was it?" Jay asks.

"Don't call me that." I demand.

"Feisty, but you need to be with what's heading your way." I exchanged glances with Hazel and Jay announced this.

"What? You don't know? Demons are only the beginning. Creatures you don't even know about are coming your way. I'm guessing soldier boy forgot to mention this?" Jay says.

"Cade you knew?" I ask looking deeply into his blue eyes.

Cade stays silent.

"This was a great conversation. I hope we can continue it later today during the hunt." Jay says strutting into the darkness.
