"Sam, how much time do we have left?" Hazel questions loudly.
"Fourteen minutes and three seconds." I announce.
People shut up.
"What have you thought of so far?" Hazel continues.
"Call in other forces, but it's too late. Kill them, but we don't know how. Try to find the bomb, but there's too much school to search. Evacuate, but to where?" I say simply.
"You idiots. She cares more than all of us. All Sam has ever done is strive to save everyone she can." Ash announces.
"She killed Tanner and Becca!" Someone yells.
"She didn't kill ANYONE! Let's get that clear. She did more than anyone to save them!" Cade screams.
His tone is cold and dangerously edgy.
"She saved my life twice, risking her life both times." Doll told people.
"Please, someone. This has to be at least three hundred people we can think of something!" I yell clearly.
"If Top Class needs help, we're screwed." Someone in the front announces.
"No, we aren't. If push comes to shove, I'll turn myself over. Just try." I say.
I see Cade glare at me in the reflection of the gym. Suddenly, someone yells, "why don't we just throw everything we can at them?"
"Too risky. If the first few things don't kill them, they'll activate the bomb." Hazel counters.
"How do we know they aren't bluffing?"
"We don't." Cade announces.
More whispers ripple through the crowd.
"Isn't there somewhere we can fit everyone that we KNOW they couldn't have touched?"
"Oh my god. The cliffs." I say smacking myself up side the head.
"What?" Cade asks.
"Get Top class, and the two other classes beneath it. The Specialist class will escort all of the lower class men out of here and to the cliffs. Not too close, but close enough to avoid the blast of another bomb. Bring as much supplies as possible. Private and Top Class will grab as many different weapons as possible, making about twenty three different chances, if we all hit them. We figure out what it is and continuously use it. If we lose then, then I will hand myself over. Cade?" I ask.
"Agreed....except for the last part." He snaps stubbornly.
"It's so crazy it might just work." Hazel says.
"Alright did everyone hear that?" Jake says in his loud voice.
People get to their feet quickly, now we are starting to act like the soldiers we were trained to be.
"Specialist class, you're in charge of all the eighth grade and lower class men. Bring them to the cliffs and stay there until you get the word otherwise. Private class, come with us. Move! Now!" Cade orders everyone and people start moving in a quick yet orderly fashion.
