Chapter 17: The Run Away


Jason's P.O.V

Johnson stood there with his arms crossed. "I see you decided to have a meeting behind my back, eh?" He said and everyone kept there mouths sealed shut. I could see the fear in Carter's eyes and I actually do feel bad for her. He wasn't supposed to come and get her for about another week or two. "So Jason, is this my girl?" He said referring to Carter. I nodded my head slightly. Johnson was literally undressing her with his eyes and it made me really angry.

He walked towards Carter and he stoked her face. "You did good Jason, really good." He licked his lips and Carter squeezed her eyes shut. "She's coming home with me." He said and I stood up from my chair. I need to think of an excuse quickly. "Um, Johnson. Before you take her can we take her home so she can get her clothes and belongings?" I asked and he shook his head no.

"She won't need any clothes at my place." He winked at her and Carter shuddered. I clenched my jaw and balled up my fists, now I am angry. "Dude, she's going to have to wear something at some point. She has some sexy clothes at my place, trust me. You will be satisfied." I said and he stood there looking at me. "Fine, I'll pick her up tomorrow." He sighed and walked out of the warehouse. Everyone sat there looking at me. I was still beyond pissed at the things he was doing to Carter. Why am I mad about it? I don't even fucking know. "Carter lets go." I demanded and she nodded.

Jenna sat on the couch with Carter as they both cried. The funny thing is, is that they don't even know what I'm planning. They think that Carter is going away with Johnson but they are in for a surprise. "I-I really don't want to g-go." Carter sobbed. "Same," Jenna said with a tear slipping out of her eye. "Carter you aren't going anywhere." I said and they both looked at me shocked. "What do you mean?" Carter asked wiping her eyes. "I mean, that us three are going to go to Los Angeles. Johnson will never find us there." I said with a smirk playing on my lips.

"So you aren't sending me away with Johnson? Why?" She asked furrowing her eyebrows. "Because Jenna seems to like you a lot and I don't want to take you away from her." I lied. I honestly don't know why I want her to stay with me. Jenna hopped up and hugged me. "See I knew you still had a heart." She giggled and so did Carter.

I looked up at Carter and she smiled at me and I smiled back. "When do I get to go home?" She asked with hopeful eyes. "Whenever Johnson gives up." I shrugged my shoulders and she nodded. "Does this mean I don't have to stay in a room all the time?" She said. "Yes." I laughed and her and Jenna squealed. They are such girls.

My phone buzzed and I looked down at the screen. Johnson was calling me and I don't know if I should answer it or not. I tapped on the 'answer' icon and placed it to my ear.

"Jason, I changed my mind. I'm coming to get the girl now. Hurry up and get together her belongings." He commanded and I chuckled dryly.

"Fuck you ex-boss." I said before hanging up on him. I laughed and the girls sat there looking at me. They looked confused but I ignored it. I clapped my hands together. "We have to leave. NOW." I said as I stood up. "What?" Jenna asked. "No time for questions! We have to leave! Now! Go outside and get in my mustang!" I yelled tugging at the ends of my hair. They ran off and stood there. Hmm, what do I need? Oh yeah, guns and money.

I ran down to my basement and entered in the code. The metal doors opened and I looked around the room admiring my lovely guns. I took my AK47 off of the rack. I walked over to the other side of the room towards the handgun section. I took two handguns off of the rack for Jenna and Carter. They will probably need them for protection.

A shiny glare caught my eye and I looked over to see the mini revolver sitting there. Well, this gun sure does bring up a lot of memories. Like the time I made Carter rob a bank and the time she knocked me out with the gun. I grabbed the revolver too and some extra bullets. I ran upstairs with the guns in my arms.

After getting everything I needed together I ran outside to my beautiful mustang and hopped in the drivers seat. The girls were sitting in the back so I put my guns in the passengers side. I picked up the revolver and a handgun. I made sure they were both on safety mode and I tossed the handgun to Jenna. I turned around to face Carter and I tossed her the revolver. "Try not to knock me out this time." I teased. "Oops, sorry." She shrugged and stifled a giggle.This was honestly the first time I have ever seen Carter actually smile. A real smile.

Jenna and Carter were in the back blabbing about Justin Bieber and I couldn't help but feel annoyed. What's so great about this fuckhead anyways? "Guys can you shut up?" I asked. "Ugh Jay, Justin Bieber is an important topic!" Jenna yelled. I rolled my eyes and laughed at my little sister. She's so adorable. See, I can be a softie when I want to.

"Where are we staying in Los Angeles?" Carter asked. I shrugged my shoulders. "Well Kelly, James, Chaz, Ricky, and Ryan are meeting us down there at a this hotel. I told them about our plan and they want to stick with me. After staying in a hotel for a few days my house will be ready." I explained. "Your house?" Jenna asked. "I bought a new house down there." I said and Jenna rolled her eyes at me.

Carter's P.O.V

I opened my eyes and yawned. I looked out of the window and it was already dark. "Jason how long have we been driving?" I asked him. "Three hours. We'll be there in five minutes. Wake Jenna for me please." He said.
Honestly, I don't think I'm going to refer to Jason as the devil anymore. He is actually saving me right now even though he is the one who put me in this situation. At least he's being nice and at least he's trying.

I shook Jenna, she snorted, and shot up. I laughed at her because she had dry drool all over her chin and her hair was a catastrophe. "Are we there yet!" She squealed and I heard Jason groan. "Do you have to act like you're ten years old?" Jason asked her. Jenna scoffed and crossed her arms. "I'm just kidding." Jason said and she stuck her tongue out at him.

After sitting in silence for five minutes Jason pulled into the hotel parking lot. It didn't look like one of those cheep motels, It was utterly amazing. Me and Jenna gasped at the sight and I didn't take my eyes off of the beautiful building. "Girls, get out." Jason said and we nodded our heads.

I opened the door and stood there. Jason walked to the back of the car and popped the trunk open. He took out a hat and a pair of sunglasses. He walked over to me and put the sunglasses on my face. I smiled and he put the SnapBack on and then put his hood over the hat.

Jenna put up her hood too as we walked inside the hotel. I tried not to gasp or squeal because I didn't want to draw any unnecessary attention towards us but the hotel was gorgeous. There was a fountain in the middle of the lobby and everything was either gold or beige. Jason walked towards the front desk and we waited behind him. I looked over to see the man and Jason talking but then the man handed Jason a card.

Everything was finished, we were finally able to go to our room and relax. Jason slid the key in the slot and pulled it out. The red light on the slot turned green indicating that it was unlocked. Jason twisted the knob and opened the door.

I looked at the room in awe and so did Jenna. "This is the kings suite. The gang is coming soon too. There are four beds and eight of us." Jason said and we nodded. "So that means you have to sleep with me." Jason said pointing in my direction.

What. What. What?!
