Chapter 29: Hijacked

Carter’s P.O.V

I woke to the sound of Jason’s voice, “Babe, wake up.” I stirred in my sleep a bit, and continued to ignore him. “Come on babe, we have a huge day ahead of us.” He whispered. I let out a groan and rolled out of bed. I was still upset with him, and I don’t think that he realized that. “Pull your hair up in a ponytail. We have got to get going.” He muttered, and I nodded. I pulled my hair up to the top of my head, and took the band from my wrist. I wrapped the band around my hair, and tied it securely to my head.

Jason tried to grab my hand, but I rejected it, and pulled away. He groaned and rolled his eyes. “Why are you being like this?” He asked and I shrugged. “Please don’t talk to me.” I said, and he rolled his eyes again. “You’re being really childish.” He hissed, and I smiled. “Have you seen yourself lately?” I laughed. He ignored me and pulled me out of the hotel room. We walked down the hallway. He stopped at one of doors and knocked on it.

I heard shuffling from behind the door, and then it opened. Ryan stood there as he rubbed his eyes. He let out a yawn, and Jason scoffed. “Come on, we have to leave.” Jason said. Ryan came out of the room empty handed. We had nothing with us, and it felt awkward. We walked towards the elevators, and Jason clicked the button repeatedly. “Clicking it more than once isn’t going to make it come any faster.” I muttered. “Good to know.” He said sarcastically. I honestly hate his attitude, and that’s why I am mad at him. Jason will always be Jason.

The doors swung open, and we walked out together. We stood in the lobby, but it was completely vacant. Jason walked up to the front desk, and he tapped the bell that stood on the desktop. The door behind the desk opened, and a short little man came out. “Did you have a nice stay?” The man asked, and Jason shook his head, and said rudely, “No I didn’t.” The man’s eyes widened at how harsh Jason’s voice was. “O-Okay, well that’ll be two-hundred dollars.” The man stuttered and Jason laughed. “I’m broke, I have no cash.” Jason said.

“T-Then we might need to get the police involved.” The man whispered. You could tell that the man was really scared, but I would be too if I was in his situation. “No need too.” Jason said as he pulled out a gun. Where the fuck did he get that at? “Jason no-“ I said before the sound of the gun cut me off. The man fell to the ground, and Jason started to laugh again. Ryan laughed a bit too, and I just stood there. I was completely caught off guard. Why would he do something like that? I shouldn’t be surprised though because it’s Jason we’re talking about here. He is a very unpredictable person.

We got out of the car and we stood in front of the airport. “Jason, how are we going to do this?” Ryan asked, and Jason simply shrugged. “All we have to do is get past the security, and we’ll be alright.” Jason mumbled, and Ryan widened his eyes. “We’re bound to get caught with that lame plan.” I spat. “Carter, I am not in the mood to argue with you. Please, we’ll be alright.” Jason said as I rolled my eyes. We walked into the airport, and Jason whispered something in Ryan’s ear. Ryan smirked and nodded. What’s going on?

“I’m having a baby!” Ryan screamed as he clutched his stomach. Jason held in his laughter as he came towards me. He grabbed my arms, and pulled me away from the scene. I could still hear Ryan screaming in the background. Some of the guards left the area. Everybody waited in line as the security guards dealt with Ryan. Jason pulled me through the crowd, and past the little security checks. Nobody seemed to notice us, and nobody even cared. They were too busy worrying about Ryan, and his ‘baby’.
