A/N: Hello it's me(insert Adele song here) I have decided to update early, as you can see, because I had a rush of inspo today, and wrote all of this down. To clarify a few things, Ellie is now at a school type place, like a boarding school. I've decided to put author's notes here, as I think you're more likely to read them. So, I've decided that whoever comments something either creative, or funny will get a dedication in the next chapter. Please, don't forget to vote, and comment. Tell me about you, let's be friends :)

Enjoy xo,

The class ended, and I found myself walking down the hallway to my next class. It was eerily deserted, but I was the only one going to Silver-what to expect. Room 794. Sixth floor corridor, left hand side. I entered the classroom and was surprised to see the woman who was next to the headmistress standing at the front of the classroom, with two other students seated, with their heads bent over textbooks, as if they had been there a long time. The woman cleared her throat and began to speak in a calm voice.

"You must be Ellie. I am Professor Eloise, you may sit down. Take out your silver textbook if you have one, if not I will lend you a copy. Turn to page three hundred and ninety four. Then I want you all to discuss what you read, and try to visualise yourself doing it."

Once I'd read the page I waited for the others to finish, they seemed to be doing something a bit more advanced, but I suppose that they had started something else before I walked in.  They finally looked up, it was two girls, older than me, about 16, or 17. Not sure how to introduce myself, but willing to get on with it I meekly said, "Hey, My name's Ellie, what are your names?"

There was a tentative silence as they assessed me, silently weighing up their options, sizing up who I was, and what my strengths may or may not be. The blonde one spoke first.

"Hey, I'm Clara, that's Jess my twin, and we're both silver and gold. You?"

"Nice to meet you both, I'm silver, gold and purple, and not too sure what it all means, slowly getting used to this all."

"Sounds like us when we first came to this school. So, what do you think would happen if we just talked normally to animals?"

Jess, who up until this point had been silent, brightened up and joined in.

"I think they would understand, because do you remember that time we talked the fox out of killing that cat?"

"Oh yeah I completely forgot! You're right! They do understand speech."

"Wait-" at this I was baffled. "You talked a fox, into not killing a cat? But foxes are like dogs, so naturally they'd be enemies. How did you do it?"

"We told it that the cat was too old, and it'd be too chewy, so it should go off and find something else to eat."

"Wow."

The class was dismissed, and once again I found myself wandering around a hallway until I looked at my schedule and found it was lunchtime. Now to not get lost in going to the main hall. I walked into many empty classrooms, and broom cupboards before finally getting the courage to ask a girl who looked like she belonged here, and was talking to a group of girls. I approached them and caught a snatch of their conversation.

"And then it was all over before I knew it. So I told him that the massage had been far too short-" she whipped around and looked at me with such force that I was reduced to a stuttering mess.

"Uh, hi, I-I'm new and I wondered where the main hall was, I'm lost."

She took her time replying, as if I was beneath her.

"It's two corridors down, on the left. Now scat before I blast you. Go!"

Her tone imperiously demanded I leave, so I ran faster than I had before, and bumped straight into Naida, whom I had seen at breakfast near the front of the room, with what I assumed were the other teachers and various staff members.

"Woah, slow down. Watch where you're going little one. Now, don't tell me, you've just run into Ember and her groupies, she told you where the main hall was so you'd get out of her way fast, and then threatened to blast you with her energy. Even though it's against the rules to practice magic in the hallways and she knows this. You ran, scared, and didn't see where you were going."

"How'd you know?" the surprise was evident, not to mention I was out of breath.

"It's happened so many times, I've lost count. Now, sit down, have lunch with your friends and forget about it. Stay out of trouble and while you're at it, don't forget to practice what you've learnt in class."

"Okay, stop being a worrywart Naida, I'll be fine."

A sarcastic smile appears on her face as she replies, "Don't tell me what to do, you're young yet, and besides, you don't know everything about this realm."

"I'll see you later then I suppose."

"Yep, you sure will, now go and eat with your friends."

I walked into the hall, and spotted Kalen, Alvin, Raisie and Cordelia waving me over. I went over and sat down.

Cordelia was the first to begin the interrogation. "So, how was your first morning here? Boring? How were your classes?"

"It was fine, the classes really cool, I think I'm going to like Professor Ariadne and Professor Eloise, they seem really nice, not to mention welcoming too. I met two twins, Jess and Clara, they seemed lovely."

At this, Raisie brightened up "Yeah, they're really nice, both silver and gold right?"

"Yeah, they are. It must be weird, having two energies" interjected Kalen, he seemed genuinely surprised at something. But what?

"I think to them it's pretty normal, after all they did tell a fox to not eat a cat once."

"Wow, that's so cool." breathed Alvin, who had been silent up until now.

Without warning, what seemed to be the main entrance opened, and there stood the queen.

Whispers of "What's she doing here? She only comes on very special occasions." ran around the room, before she came to the front, looked directly at me, and began to speak.
