"So, baby names?" My mother asks. I blush and roll my eyes at her.

We are having breakfast, before taking my mother to the airport. she has been here for three days. Unfortunately she needs to go back. But she says she will be back for the operation.

"We haven't really spoken about names to a big extent. A couple small conversations here and there." I say in honesty.

I turn to Xavier. He just gives a smile, obviously a name in mind.

"Well, I still like the name Cordelia but I also like Calliope." I nod my head. It is a nice name, and unique. But I have a name I would like to through in there too.

"I like the name Cassiel." I say. Xavier chuckles lightly at my name choice.

"The arch angel of humanity. Cassiel." He comments. I smile and nod, glad he knew what I got it from.

"Well, whatever you choose, I'm sure she will be just gorgeous." Mum says with a small chuckle. I smile and nod my head, putting my hand down to my stomach, where my little girl is.

After eating breakfast, Xavier and I have a shower in the ensuite of our room as mum has one in the shared bathroom.

Under the faucet, Xavier wraps his arms around my waist, resting his hands gently on top of the protruding baby bump.

It is scary how much things have progressed in three weeks. I am graduating from university on Friday this week and I know Jaxon is preparing to propose to Jemma. I also am far long along in my pregnancy and we have had to postpone that wedding Xavier wanted since the tumor was found. Now we have settled on having the wedding after i have our baby girl.

"What are you thinking about?" He asks with a soft smile as we sit in the living room waiting for my mother to finish packing her belongings.

"Just how much life has changed." I say in honesty.

"I know what you mean. It's been a long year." I smile and nod.

"One of the best and worst years of my life." I say. Xavier kisses my cheek and leans his head on my shoulder, our hands entwined on my lap.

"Okay, that's everything. I'm ready." My mum says as she walks to us with her bag packed.

"Alright." Xavier says as we stand up together. Sally  follows us, walking out to the car and getting in the back with my mum. Xavier gets into the drivers seat and I next to him.

Over the past week that my mother has stayed, she and Sally have really hit it off.

Fortunately for mum, it doesn't take long to get to the airport. Unfortunately for us, as we don't want to see her leave. Even if we know she'll be back in a couple of weeks with the rest of the family.

Once Xavier finds parking, we pile out and walk her in until the front desk where she gets her boarding pass.

My mum turns to me. I sigh sadly and pull her into a big tight hug and she kisses my head softly, not wanting to let me go. I fight back the tears as she does so.

Once she has said goodbye to all of us, she turns around to the front desk and not long after, she is out of our sight. I lean into Xavier's embrace, sad to see my mother go.

"What would you like to do now?" He asks.

"We should probably buy some more baby clothes and get this nursery set up." I say in honesty.

We should have two months left to prepare but because she may be born early, I want to make sure everything is in order, and ready for her if she is born early.

It frightens me thinking about all of this. Thinking about the fact that I have a tumor in my throat and that it has to be removed, thinking about how this can determine mine and my baby's future.

"Okay, then we should go the Bunnings so I can get some wood and some paint." Xavier says. I look at him with an odd stare.

"Why do you need wood?" I ask.

"Because I'm making her cot and bassinet by scratch." I look at him and smile. Sometimes he can be so cute and sweet.

"How will you have it done in time?" I ask.

"Well I only need the bassinet made in time. The cot I have a while to make. And Oscar and Michael have agreed to come and help me." I laugh softly. Three boys making furniture together.

"What will they look like?" I ask. He smirks and shrugs. Making me pout. Obviously he is going to try and make it a surprise. I hate surprises.

"Now come on, lets go." He says dragging me to te car park of the airport.

I get in and let him drive us toward our local Bunnings. Walking straight down toward the wood isle. I am amazed at how many pieces of wood he is getting. enough to fill three of the Bunnings trollies.

I sigh, realising how extravagant he is going to try and make the cot and the bassinet. He then walks down to the paint, getting pink and white and some other colours as well.

By the time he has everything, we have to ask Oscar to come and take some of the wood since not all of it would fit in our car. I love this man dearly, but he sometimes can go a bit too above and beyond what he needs to do.
