Xavier's P.O.V
"She's so sweet, I can see why you like her so much" Sally says smirking. I blush and smile softly.
"I'm gonna go work out a bit" I mumble.
"No you don't mister. You need to pack those equipment up. We leave tomorrow and I am not packing this house on my own" I sigh, knowing there's no messing with Sally when she has that tone.
"Love you Sally" I call as I walk into the gym room with boxes.
"You want some help?" I feel my body freeze, my heart rate quicken at the sound of her angelic voice.
"What are you doing here?" I ask with a smile on my face as I face Piper. She fake pouts.
"What you don't want my help?" She asks, her voice breaking in a slight laugh, giving away that she's joking.
"Of course I do. Sally call you did she?" Piper laughs and nods.
"She needs the help, not like you've packed much yourself" She teases.
I look around at the one box I've managed to pack in the last two hours I've been down hair. So maybe I got distracted. I blush and rub the back of my neck embarrassed.
"I may have been distracted" I say chuckling.
"No kidding" She laughs.
"I can't help it. I get distracted easily" I defend weakly.
"Tell you what, if you can stay focused for until five, so for half an hour, I'll buy you some dinner out?" I ask.
I purse my lips, trying to keep a straight face as she looks at me, her teasing smirk, her waiting eyes all focused on me.
"Where would we go?" I ask trying to keep my serious facade on.
"Harry's Wheels" I look up at her and grin happily. Sitting up from my bench presser I wrap my arms around her in a tight hug.
"I need to be able to breath!" she squeals, laughing slightly.
"Sorry" I say sheepishly.
"Half an hour, keep focused" She says with fake sternness.
"Yes ma'am" I say with a slight solute before going back to packing.
It was hard, really hard to keep focused. Especially since she was helping me, all I wanted to do was walk to her, press her up against the wall and kiss her until she was lightheaded. I didn't though, I got through it all without her noticing my stares and without getting too distracted. By the end of the half an hour we packed about three more boxes. There's nothing left to pack in the room.
"Okay, let's go" She says within her sigh. She seems exhausted.
"Sally!" Piper calls Sally as we stand near the gym room door.
"Yeah? Oh wow you're all done" Sally says smiling as she sees the room.
"I'm taking you and Xavier out to Harry's wheels. Come on" Piper says smiling. No room for discussion on Sally's side. Sally looks at me unsure, I smile and hug her.
"Come on Sally. Go get dressed. Something nice" I say, I love Sally so much, like she's my own mother. She has her own kids, ones my age. He's my best friend, Oscar. He's married and lives in Melbourne actually so it's perfect that we'll be moving there.
"Okay, just give me a few minutes" I smile and watch as she leaves.
"She's so lovely" Piper says as she leans against my door frame.
