I woke up to the banging of my dorm door. Jaxon and Jemma are asleep together on Jemma's bed. With a groan I walk to the door. My eyes barely open, it's like five in the morning. Openning the door I squeal and shut it in his face. My heart beating out of my chest, I can hear him chuckling on the other side of the door at me. My hair is a mess, I'm in my pyjamas and it just happens to be Xavier at my door. I groan and open the door.
"Why are you here so fucking early" I groan sleepily.
"Language Miss Smith" He says with a smirk, walking into the dorm room without asking to come in. I roll my eyes and close the door behind him.
"I thought we could go for a jog together" A beautiful grin plastered onto his face, he's such a little kid at heart, just as Sally had said.
"Fine, let me get changed" I answer. He grins and sits down on my bed, waiting for me. I roll my eyes and grab my clothes, walking into the bathroom. Putting in my gym clothes I walk back out, watching him stare at my exposed stomach since I'm in a boobtube. I mean, it's not like I'm naked or anything. It's shorts, runners and a boobtube.
"You know it's rude to stare?" I ask him smirking. He lifts his jaw up as well as his eyes, I watch as he gulps, his Adam's apple bobbing as he does.
"Sorry, you ready?" I nod my head and walk with him out of the dorm room.
"Doesn't it feel weird, your ex with your best friend?" His curious eyes upon me, waiting an answer.
"Not really, they've been going out for two years and she asked me if i'd be okay with it, which I am. Jaxon is more a friend than anything else and in a way I've always known that. Besides I was ready to settle down and he wasn't which I understand" I can feel Xavier's eyes on me the whole time I'm speaking.
"You're twenty-two, why would you be wanting to settle down so early?" I shrug.
"I love the idea of a family, besides if I find the right person, why should I waste my time if I know they are the one? It's not like I can stop it from happening" I continue.
"You're not like other ladies your age" He concludes.
"I hope that's a compliment" I say with a laugh.
"Of course it is" He chuckles.
For the next two hours we jog around the area together, in a comfortable silence with conversation every now and again when we stop for a rest. I know more about him now, his favourite food is lasagne, he loves the gym, he wants three kids and a house in the country side, he knows how to tame and break a wild horse and his favourite colour is pink.
"Why don't you come over this afternoon, after your lectures we can watch some movies and I'll give Sally the night off to see her son" Xavier offers, I smile and nod my head.
"That'd be great" I answer.
Xavier walks me to my dorm door, I turn around, back to the door so I'm facing Xavier. He's so close, I didn't expect this, leaning in he kisses my cheek softly.
"I'll see you tonight" He says before walking away.
I walk into the form and sit on my bed, Jemma and Jaxon looking at me with smirks on their faces. I roll my eyes and throw a pillow at them, only causing them to laugh. It's not like me going for a jog is a big thing.
"I told you he likes you!" I roll my eyes at Jaxon.
"Jaxon fuck off, you say a lot of shit" I laugh as he pouts at me sulkingly.
It was just a jog and tonight is just some movies with Xavier...alone...in his house...just us...me and Xavier...alone. Wow that's something I'll need to calm my nerves on. I mean, I know how he feels about me but he doesn't know what I feel for him, maybe tonight is the night I can tell him. The perfect opportunity.
