I wake up by Xavier's side. His arms are around me as his bare chest presses against my back and his arm draped around me. I look behind me to see he's still asleep. Smiling I place my hand on his cheek and caress his cheek, the stumble lightly scratching my hand.

I turn and sit up in the bed, stretching before standing up. It's early morning, I don't expect Xavier to be up any time soon.

Walking to the bathroom I start the shower, the hot water steaming up the ensuite as I undress my clothes and step in the shower.

I lather myself up with soap. Looking down at my stomach, I run my hand gently over the protruding pump. I can't believe she will be here next week. So many weeks too early, but no way around it. None that Xavier would agree to anyway.

She moves slightly, i can feel the movement. Making me smile. I continue to shower, once I finish, I turn off the shower and wrap myself in a towel. I hear shuffling in the bedroom. I walk through, seeing Xavier standing next to the bed, in just his briefs, Sally by the door with a trey of food for the both of us. I smile.

"Thank you." I say sincerely.

"It's okay honey. Now after breakfast I thought we could all go to the beach." Sally suggests. Xavier and I look between each other and nod.

It'd be nice to get out of the house other than uni or appointments. Sally leaves the room, closing the door after herself. I walk to the wardrobe and get changed, changing into my swimmers and putting on a slightly see-through flowing white dress. I turn from the wardrobe to see Xavier watching me, that loving smile on his lips as he watches me.

I smile back at him and walk toward him, the food had been placed on the bedside table, him waiting for me before eating. I lean over him, my legs either side of his as he lays with his back against the head of the bed frame. He smiles, watching as I wrap my arms around the back of his neck and press my lips to his. His hands find my hips and he tugs me a little closer to him so my chest is flush against his.

We pull away and he caresses my cheek with a smile. I sit next to him and we eat our breakfast.

"You graduate this Thursday, two days away. Are you excited?" He asks. I smile and nod.

"Soon I'll be teaching my own classes like you." I say grinning. He chuckles.

"Would you want to work with me?" He asks. I shrug.

"I hadn't thought of it. It would be nice but I also think you may drive me nuts." I tease. He chuckles and kisses my cheek.

"I'm not that bad." I give him a flat stare.

"When you want to be." I mumble playfully. He chuckles and shakes his head.

"I'll think about it." I say honestly. He nods his head.

Once we are both finished eating he goes to have a quick shower and get ready. As he does I walk out toward the kitchen. Sally is packing a picnic basket full of watermelon, sandwiches, bananas some fruit and a couple cool beers for Xavier.

"Hello darling, Xavier in the shower?" She asks. I nod ah take a piece of the watermelon. She goes to smack my hand away but I'm too quick.

"Eating for two, I need to watermelon." I say knowing she won't start on me if I use the pregnancy card. She just sighs, a small smile on her lips as she shakes her head.

"Why don't you go put your swimmers on and I'll finish packing." I offer. She smiles and nods, walking toward her room while I pack the rest of the things to put in.

It doesn't take long until the two of them are ready as we're on our way to the beach. We find a nice spot on the beach and set out the picnic.

"Would you want to eat now then swim or swim then eat?" Sally asks.

"Food." Is all I say. She laughs and starts to unpack the picnic.

I take my top off as well as my shorts, only in my bikini. Xavier straight away touches my stomach, his arms wrapping around me as he pulls me between his legs so my back is against his chest.

The sandwich is too hard to swallow so I stick to the watermelon. I can see the worry on Xavier's face as he knows it's getting harder to eat solid foods.

We finish the food and all three of us head into the water. It's not too cold but it is refreshing, not many big waves either. Xavier holds me as we float with the waves and I watch on as Sally gets courted by an older man, her age who swam into her, striking up a conversation.

After a long day at the beach we start to head home. My body aching and my throats burning from such a long day. I sigh in bliss when I sit on the couch, my legs up on the table. Xavier sits next to me and starts to rub my shoulders. Soon I'm laying down and he's rubbing my feet while I'm falling asleep.
