Marinette's PoV:

I rubbed at my eyes. I must have not seen right. But it was right there, proudly displayed. How could I have incorrectly seen the amount of treasure we collected? "Ladybug, we hid most of it below-deck." Stormy Weather explained, looking rather smug. "This is 1/10 of a town's wealth?" I gaped.

"Poor, poor Ladybug, you must have been hiding under a rock your whole life. This town is one of the richest in France. Don't let looks deceive you, listen to the facts instead. Why would have LadyWifi told you to come here then? Why waste all that time and effort for a measly bit?" she pointed out.

Well, that was true.

"I guess...Well then, I guess here comes the question of where to put all-"

LadyWifi interrupted,"Trust me darling, I got you covered."

"Then what are you going to do?"

"Well, half of this stuff is all fancy crowns and yadda yadda yadda, so we're going to sell it, duh. Then all the gold and silver can be stored at a storage room that we bought. Then wellah!"

"Sounds good, I'll handle the selling, and you can by a storage room in this town." I decided.

"Aye aye!" she saluted then strode out the room. Stormy Weather left soon after as well, shutting the door quietly behind her. I stood up, brushing non-existent dust from my shorts, and walked up to the humongous pile of treasure before me. Time to get my hands dirty. A few hours later, I had finally sorted the gold and silver from the materials, then stuffed the latter into huge bags. "The Pharoah, Timebreaker and Dark Cupid, get your lazy asses up here!" I called. They trudged in, still evidently tired from yesterday's activities. Oh well, there was still work to be done, no rest for the weary! We picked up at least 5 bags each, I chose the more stronger members of the team, and made our way to the nearest jewellery shop. While mostly everyone crashed for the night, LadyWifi miraculously had enough energy and common sense to steer the ship away from the town and to a nearby one 20km away. If not for her, I don't know where we would be! Anyway, we found a shop and bargained a trade. Half an hour later, we started going back to Miraculous Ladybug with our bags almost as full as when we started, but with gold and silver instead.

As we dropped our bags down at the meeting room, we met LadyWifi, who told us she had bought a storage room in the town. She had already moved the gold and silver left over from my sorting there already. All that was left was our bit. Groaning, we picked up the annoying bags again, and followed LadyWifi as she directed us to the storage area. Finally, we dumped the bags upside down and emptied the loot on the floor. To be honest, I wasn't going to lie, that was hard work, but seeing the gold and silver piled on the floor, it really gave me a sense of satisfaction. After stretching out my cramping back, I studied the room. It was basically a huge safe. It was made out of metal, with no windows and 2 torches with the materials needed to light it up laying underneath it. The door was also made out of metal and no flaps or gaps, and had a huge, ominous lock on it. "LadyWifi, you're in charge of the keys to this place. I'm trusting you with this." I ordered. "No problem." she replied. Done with business here, I sent everyone back, but I said I would wander around for a bit. When they finally left, I released my transformation and gave a tired Tikki some cookies from my satchel. Right on cue, my stomach grumbled. Seemed like I needed dinner.

Not wanting to have dinner back on the ship, I walked around the streets, looking for a suitable restaurant to eat at. I found one, and stepped inside. Warm air blasted at me, relieving me of the growing chill from the darkening night, Drinks clinked, people laughed, and it felt like a safe and happy place. But then something caught my eye. It was a blonde mop of hair, sitting slightly apart from the others. Curious, I started walking towards the person.
