Still Suspicious

Adrien's PoV:

Everyone suddenly stopped fighting, and looked at Ladybug is surprise. Even my mouth was hung open in shock. How could her voice sound so harmless, but still hold such a dark undertone? It's as like if you disobeyed her, dying will seem like heaven compared to whatever she'll do to you. "I'll explain to you later, but for now, please put down your weapons and return to your respective ships. I still have....some talking to do." she ended with an icy glare towards me. Well what's her problem? She was laughing a second ago, in which her lips looked so appealing....no, snap out of it Chat Noir! Everyone, still dumbfounded I might add, slowly withdrew to their ships. Then, she whirled towards me and started stalking her way over.

Angrily, she took the net and ripped it off me and shouted, "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!" Suddenly a huge swarm of....miniature ladybugs burst out of the net and whirled around both ships. When 'they' disappeared, all the damage from the fight was gone, and the net had disappeared. Once again, my jaw fell slack onto the deck. I shakily stood up and faced her, trying to intimidate her with my taller height. And failing miserably.

"H-how did you do that?" I embarrassingly stuttered.

She rolled her eyes, " It's my other Miraculous power."

"That's not fair! I want another 2 powers! How come you get 3 and I only get 1?"

"Awwww, stop sounding like a spoiled brat."

"Says the person who has more than me."

"Well suck it up and deal with it, because I don't tolerate sulkiness."

Now that was what caused my hackles to raise. "Well I'm terrifurrbly sorry My Lady, do you want me to kiss fur pawn away?" I smirked.

Her eyes widened a fraction, but I wasn't stupid, and I saw it. It was working. "Cat puns? Really?"

"Oh, is it not suitfurrble for My Lady's exquisite taste?"

"You don't say. First, tell me why you wanted to attack me," she cocked her hip.

"Well, I thought you were akumatised, considering you were on an Akuma's ship. Now what's your excuse?" I crossed my arms.

"I've never heard of you in the news, somehow was I supposed to know you weren't an akuma. Plus, you were leading an Akuma ship as well."

"Yeah, because at least I could stay out of the news when I did my first loot, unlike a caturn someone."

"Now look here, although we are both Miraculous Holders, it doesn't mean we're friends. I'm still suspicious of you. Don't expect me to blindly trust someone who didn't believe in my skills enough. You even thought my skills were so weak that I was akumatised!"

"I couldn't agree meowr. And why should I trust someone who thought I was so lowly that I was an akuma?"

Something sparked in her eyes, it was....humour? Before it was snuffed out just like a child would blow out a frail candle light. But something deep down inside me was yowling, as if it was in pain the second I said those words. But I pushed that annoying voice to the back of my mind. We stood there, glaring at each other, until we both huffed and turned away, stomping back to where both our crews' stood below deck, opposite each other. Good riddance Ladybug. What I didn't realise, was that we'll meet each other much, much more than just that one time.....
