I'll be doing this from Marinette's PoV, but the aftermath of the fight is from Adrien's PoV. I have a feeling this will be my best chapter yet! And on to the story.....

Marinette's PoV:

I rushed up to the deck with LadyWifi hot on my heels. It seems they have spotted us as well. I looked through a pair of binoculars to analyse the ship more closely. Hmm, it had basically the same structure as our one, though every ship had the same structure if they were part of the Akuma's. Engraved on the front of the boat in gold letters, it said Le Chat Noir. Interesting, I'm guessing Chat Noir is the leader's name. Very fancy. There were exactly 14 people on deck and they seemed better then the average Akuma crew. The ship also seemed to be in good hands, from the shiny deck, to the organised cargo, it seemed basically perfect. Great, just great, this would be such an easy fight. From what I could see, we had no advantage. It was completely equal on both sides, with no leverage. I gritted my teeth; this would be the toughest fight Crew Ladybug's had to face yet. I might even need to use my special power, Lucky Charm, which I have never had to use before. I walked up to the steering wheel, took over The Evillustrator and called, "Crew Ladybug, we're in fighting zone!"

Both ships approached each other too fast, but at the same time, too slow. I had a weird feeling twisting my gut, but I ignored it and pushed it to the back of my mind. All too soon, we were side by side. "Throw the lines over to secure the other ship!" my voice and another's shouted at the same time. Startled, I looked over to the direction the other voice came from, which was at the steering wheel of the other ship. A boy, at around the same age as me but half a head taller, stood there looking at me as well. He had a black t-shirt with a green belt, black coat with green highlights over the top, black pants, black boots, a sword scabbard filled in at his side and a black bandana over his eyes to complete the look. He had piercing green eyes accentuated by the black bandanna that showed something like.....awe? But he quickly shook his head and that disappeared. Then, we had a silent stare-down. While we did that, we both screamed, "Let's get 'em!"
Nobody needed any more encouragement, they were already hyped up too much. War cries and the thundering of footsteps ensued, and soon after, the enviable clash of metal. Then that left us.

I quickly took my sword out; I couldn't treat this like a normal fight, he was good, so that meant no showing off. He did likewise. I moved my right foot an inch to the side, and he bent his legs. Then, we charged.

We met in the middle of the plank, with us doing an annoying cliché version of having our swords in the middle, neither moving a budge. We just stood there and struggled. Sadly, thanks to men just naturally being stronger, he was slowly gaining ground. Grinding my teeth, I jumped back onto my boat, and he soon followed. I lunged at him, earning a parry going towards my stomach. I ducked, and brought my sword towards his ankle, which he managed to jump over. I quickly stood up and ducked under the slash towards my head. He attempted to somersault over my head to go behind me when I was pre-occupied ducking, but I brought my sword up and blocked him. As he landed back on his feet, I managed to slide underneath him and thrust towards his back. He flipped forward and avoided my attack. He turned back to face me, and brought his sword down in a side-ways arc aiming for my shoulder. I brought my sword up to block it, and tried to twist it out of his grasp. But before I could gain any leverage, he plucked the sword out of mine. I sliced horizontally towards his neck, but he somehow, with deadly accuracy, got his sword from below and chose the right moment to tip my sword up to the sky, missing him altogether. Fighting the momentum carrying my sword out of my hand, I gripped it tighter and swung it down with deadly control towards his head. Irritatingly, he rolled to the side and got back up in a flash.

We stood there, facing each other, both breathing heavily and dripping sweat. It was only us two, and nobody else was in this little world of ours. He called out, "CATACLYSM!" and something black appeared in his hand. My eyes widened; I've never seen an akuma with magic before, but this will be a welcome challenge. I called out, "LUCKY CHARM!" and a net appeared. Well, quite a large one, more like to capture something, or someone. I smirked as a plan came to mind. He dashed towards me, his hand raised high. I jumped onto one of the many masts, and scurried up. He soon followed me up. I jumped from mast to mast making sure he was following me. As I jumped from a specific mast, I brought my sword up, and cut a rope. Too focused on following me, Chat Noir didn't realise there was a whole stash of ropes dropping down until it was too late. He fell down onto the deck with a satisfying thud.

I quickly jumped down, and timed my attack perfectly, so after he used his Cataclysm to destroy the ropes, I trapped him in the net. I wiped the sweat off my forehead, wondering what to do with him.

Adrien's PoV:

I couldn't believe 3 things:
1, I lost the fight!
2, The famous Chat Noir, me, was beaten by a pile of ropes and currently trapped in a net for Christ's sake!
3, Ladybug was akumatised so easily when she was a Miraculous Holder, is that even possible?

But Ladybug, even akumatised, was even more beautiful than in the few pictures I've seen. Dammit, I can't think like that, she has me trapped in a net! Her skill wasn't affected at all from what I've seen. I shivered, hopefully she wasn't sadistic. She studied me, curious. Her bright blue eyes, like the sky, I could get lost in them for all eternity....no no no, don't think like that! "Where could the akuma be?" she muttered. Ladybug walked around me, scrutinising me carefully.

"What? I'm not akumatised!" I protested.

"Huh?" She stopped dead.

"Aren't you akumatised?"

"No!"

"I have the Cat Miraculous."

"I haven't heard about you."

"Yeah, because I stay out of the news."

"Well, why should I trust you?"

"You can always waste your time trying to find an akumatised object, but there won't be any results."

"Since we're both not akumatised, why are we fighting?" she asked.

We stared at each other, then burst out laughing. "Everyone, stop fighting, this is stupid!" Ladybug called.
