Marinette's PoV:

After 3 agonising hours, everyone was gathered at the main room, ready to act. I had recharged Tiki and given my crew members a short but to the point pep talk. "3...2...1, let's go Crew Ladybug!" I had given the group a crew name, because well, who would want a nameless crew? Anyway, the first group, the distraction group, moved stealthily off the ship in one's and two's in order not to draw suspicion towards them. So far, so good, considering no one's shouting and pointing towards any members of the team. After approximately 5 minutes, smoke started rising from a distance, and people began noticing. They started moving towards the sight, that's when everyone in the second group left the ship. Shortly afterwards, LadyWifi, Puppeteer and I crept off the ship. Moving together like a well-oiled machine, we ran through the deserted streets in search for specific landmarks to point us the right way. Our boots made no sound on the cobblestones as we raced forwards. I found wearing the Ladybug Miraculous had improved my running speed. I had to slow down a bit for LadyWifi and Puppeteer so I didn't leave them behind. But even at the fast rate we were covering ground, it would still take around 20 minutes to get to our destination in the middle of the city.

"I'm glad the distraction team did so well." commented LadyWifi.

"I know, I mean, look at the empty streets!" Puppeteer marvelled.

"They definitely did well, just don't let your guard down." I warned.

They both eye rolled.

"Yes mom." LadyWifi pouted.

"Hey, I'm the same age as you, you know!" I half-heartedly complained.

"Really? I didn't notice, you looked a lot older than LadyWifi." Puppeteer said with baby-doll eyes.

The banter continued for a while, but when we caught sight of our destination, all friendly chatter ceased. It was a fortress, not too big, but definitely not small. Then came the strategy planning. We ducked behind a building before the guards stationed outside saw us.

"There are 2 guards outside of the main entrance, do you want to do the direct attack, or the stealthy one?" LadyWifi whispered.

"Stealthy. I mean look at their armour, it may look ordinary, but I have enough knowledge to know that the armour must have cost a lot of gold to make. And if it's expensive, it most likely is good quality. With armour that good, I also wouldn't be surprised if a lot more guards were inside wearing the exact same armour. It might be just to scare intruders off, but I don't want to take the chance. Maybe after we have more experience battling together, then we can do the direct approach." I decided.

"Sounds good to me." Puppeteer agreed.

LadyWifi also nodded. Decision made, it was time to act. We sneaked around to the back gate and found a secret passage way that looked like it hadn't been used for decades. We scuttled inside, adrenaline pulsing through my veins. I realised why no one saw the door. It was basically camouflaged into the wall. Even I knew it was there but I couldn't see it. I drew out my sword, and drew a circle on the space that was the door. If not inspected closely, no one would see it. Inside the massive fortress, it was pretty much what I had expected. Dimly lit candles were evenly spaced out along the narrow corridor. It was cold stone underneath our feet, and the walls were made of the same material. It was almost like a stereo-typical picture of inside a fortress. Slowly, we made our way through the maze of corridors, making sure no guards saw us. Finally, we hit the jackpot.

In front of us was a huge metal door, which was heavily guarded by at least 5 well-equiped guards. And judging from how they moved and interacted, they seemed to at least be decently trained. Oh, the joy. Without even having to communicate, we nodded at each other, and crouched low into fighting stances. Then, we sprang. I took the middle 2 guards, LadyWifi took the 2 guards on the right and Puppeteer engaged with the one on the left. We didn't bother trash-talking, it wasn't going to help us in this situation. We had to knock them all out cold before other guards came running. 1 guard swiped at my head. I ducked and twisted away before the other guard could cut my arm before quickly rolling to my feet. They expected me to come from behind them. So cliché. I attacked from the side, jamming the hilt of my sword into 1 guard's gap between his headpiece and chest piece before attempting to kick the other guard's stomach. I landed a hard kick, but because of the armour, it didn't do as much damage. I probably would have kicked him into the other side of the corridor but the armour protected him and also made him heavier. At least 1 was down, 1 more to go. He was pushed back a couple of steps, but that was all I needed. In that precious 1 or 2 seconds he was off balance and skidding back, I pounced. I delivered a hell-bending kick right to his head. A clanging noise echoed throughout the corrider, and the guard dropped to his knees before falling face-first onto the stone floor. I looked around. LadyWifi was just in the process of kicking 1 guard in the nuts and knocking him out. Puppeteer was already fine, looking at us in amusement. Smirking, I turned towards the metal door and punched it open.
