Chapter 9

Rabbit kept racing the patrol following after her on hard paws.
"Slow down there!" Songcloud panted. Rabbit skidded to a halt.
"B-Blossomclaw.. H-how did you scent that?" Beetail panted.
"I got a nose." She replied flicking her tail.
Rabbit looked at them eagerly. "Come on!" She meowed with glee and ran onward.
Beetail ran beside Rabbit. The patrol ran.
Rabbit skidded to a halt coming face to face with a creamy ginger and white she-cat. "M-mom...?" She mewed.
"My daughter..?" The she-cat breathed. Rabbit took a step foward. "I-i was swept away in a storm...down the river that the star walkers made.." She explained.
"The stars truly have blessed you..." She mewed gazing up into the night sky, the stars gleaming. "Thank you stars. For bringing my daughter back." She mewed.
Rabbit raced up to her mother nuzzling her happy to see her. The creamy ginger and white she-cat purred.
"Was this StarClan's will for us all along?" Rookpaw asked Cedarpaw. Cedarpaw didn't seem to hear but was staring at Rabbit. The she-cat looked at her mother. "These cats came to help you!" She beamed.
"The stars were right." The she-cat meowed.
Rabbit smiled at them.
"Well where's the danger?" Blossomclaw asked, claws unsheathed. "There must be a danger if StarClan told us to come here."
Rabbit blinked at them looking confused.
"Maybe bringing Rabbit back was what StarClan meant." Beetail meowed.
"No that's couldn't have been all!" Rookpaw mewed.
Olivepaw tilted her head.
"Why would they want us all here to just bring Rabbit back?" Songcloud mewed.
"That's not the only thing... The Tribe Of Frost That Falls Like Rain needs you.." Rabbit's mother meowed. Cedarpaw nodded and kept looking at Rabbit.
The she-cat purred.
Cedarpaw blinked not relizing he was staring. He looked away quickly.
"Well we are here to help." Beetail meowed.
Rabbit nodded smiling. Her mother smiled.
"Let's go." The she-cat mewed.
They all followed after Rabbit and her mother.
They led them to a camp. They entered a cave.
"Welcome!" Rabbit meowed.
There were cats there. All of the cats turn their heads.
Beetail blinked in awe.
A broad tom stepped forward.
"Greetings." She meowed.
"These are the cats that the sky walkers sent us." He meowed to his companions.
The Clan cats looked around at the tribal cats in the cave in front of them. Cedarpaw blinked. Rookpaw looked around.
"How many?" Her brother asked.
"There's a lot of them..." She replied, gazing in wonder.
"Our prayers have been answered.." The broad tom meowed to his companions over his shoulder.
