"Waaakkee up! Cmon!! I wanna go outside!" I whine, looking out the window and frowning. "Lacie."

"Shush, dad can you not. I'm dreaming." She replies, not even opening her eyes. My ears practically perk up and my head swivels to look at her. I smirk.

"About who?" I ask, in my best American accent.

"I told you to shut up! And your answer is Calum Hood. This rarely happens okay and when it does I end up crying because it isn't real so shut up so I can get back to my dream bye." Lacie says, still not opening her eyes and smiling slightly, probably from her dream.

"What is happenin-" I say, before I'm cut off by Lacie's palm slapping me. I gasp dramatically, before slowly grabbing her hand and pulling it off of my face.

"How. Dare. You." I say, my act coming apart. Lacie opens her eyes, then she blinks a couple of times. Her mouth falls open as she realizes it's me.

"Fuuudge.." she whispers, before jumping up and getting ready to climb down the ladder exceptionally quickly. I just scoot closer to the ladder and watch her, smirking. She's almost all the way down before she trips, then falls flat on her face on the carpet.

"Ow." She states. I bust out laughing, climbing down the steps carefully to help her up. She shakes her head as I hold my hand out to help her up, looking up and glaring at me. I smirk. She groans, getting up. I sprint to the bathroom before she comes, and I slam the door closed. After I'm done showering, I come out and Lai's sitting criss crossed on the floor, looking bored. She hears me and she looks up, smirking and grabbing her clothes before running past me and slamming the bathroom door shut. I chuckle.

When I don't hear the shower running anymore, I slowly walk to the bathroom door and knock.

"Hurry uppp," I whine.

"Girls need their time, Cal." Lacie replies through the door.

"Fine." I give up easily, pouting and sitting on the couch lazily. Suddenly the door opens, and I jump up and sprint into the bathroom. Lacie's curling her hair.

"I thought you were done!"

"I just opened the door because it was hot," she replies amusedly. I groan, sitting down on the floor. I rest my elbow on my knee, and my chin on my hand. "Are you just gonna watch me?"

"Yeah." She looks down at me as I reply, and she shakes her head, smiling. "Is it supposed to be cold today?" Lacie nods at my question, and hearing that I jump up, tearing my short sleeve shirt off and exiting the bathroom. I can hear Lacie mutter something as I rummage through my bag, pulling out a gray sweater I stole from Mike.

"Ohh..kay...." I hear Lacie's voice and turn to look at her. "Isn't that Mikey's sweater?" She asks.

"Yup." I reply, smirking and pulling on my hat. I can hear Lacie letting out a shaky breath. "Get used to it, Lai." I say, knowing exactly why she's nervous. She nods and goes back into the bathroom. I stick my head in the door to see her applying the thing on your eyelashes. Mascara or something.

"I'm gonna find the kitchen and make breakfast." I tell her.

"But in the interview the guys said-" she starts.

"Wooow." I stop her, smiling. She blushes, then waves me off.

"How did you find everything?" I hear Lacie's voice behind me. I pour more batter onto the waffle maker, shrugging. "You cook?"

I turn around, smirking. She's sitting at the bar already, watching me. I can't admire her right now, as much as I want to, I can't because I don't want the stuff to burn.
