More Than a Fan || cth

Chapter 2

"Hey! Where have you been?" Ashton greets me as I walk through the door.

"I got lost on the way back." I say casually, and Luke rolls his eyes.

I sit down beside Michael.
Panda Express is in front of me, and I smile. "Thanks boys." They are eating too, and we all enjoy the silence as we sit and eat.

"So," I decide to break the silence and tell the boys about Lacie and Alayna coming.

They all turn to look at me, their mouths full.

"I was on my way back from the bathroom, right," I start.

"And I told Michael but I don't know if you guys saw but," I gesture to Ash and Luke. "There was a girl in the audience tonight." I tell them about Lacie, and how I had ran into her, and about her 'breakdown'.

"So, we have two fans coming here any minute now?" Ash says.

"Yeah.. is that okay? I mean, when she gets here I can-"

"No it's fine, we haven't been treating our fans lately. That's alright." Luke states.

I blow out a sigh of relief. Looking over to Mike, his eyes are wide and he has a panicked expression. He looks, dazed.

"What's up Mikey?" I say, catching his attention.

"Nothing." He shakes his head and I shrug.

There's a knock on the door, and all four of us turn to the sound.
Ash stands up. I look at him, and we have a silent conversation before I sigh and he goes to the door.

"Hey, ladies." An amused expression crosses his face and I'm guessing the girls are shocked.

"Well well, if it isn't Ashton freaking Irwin." Lacie says, suddenly confident.

He laughs, moving to the side and gesturing for them to come in. Michael turns around and his eyes widen, before he faces his food again.

I nudge him, and look at Mike with a concerned expression.
He just nods.
"We'll talk later." I whisper.

I avert my gaze off of Michael to see Luke standing up and heading toward Lacie. She smiles brightly and wraps her arms around him. "You did it, hemmo." She whispers. He chuckles, and I smile.

"No, love, YOU did it." He says. I don't see what happens next because Mike grabs my arm and drags me over to Alayna.

"Calum Hood. Can't believe you haven't killed my friend yet." She smirks.

"Nope. Wanna hug?" I say casually.

She ignores my comment and turns toward Michael. Her mouth opens in shock, and he smirks and takes her in his arms. A yelp is heard, before she's smiling crazily.

Luke taps on my shoulder. "SO which is which?" He says quietly.

"Come sit down, I've hugged both of you, yes?" I can hear Ash say.

The girls looks dazed before they look at each other and nod at ash.

"Awesome. Come sit with us."
I walk over to Lacie and grab her hand, dragging her to the couch. She plops down beside me and laces her fingers together in her lap. Luke is across from her, beside Michael and Alayna, and Ash is beside Lacie.

"Um, well, I'm Lacie and this is my best friend Alayna..I'm from Frisco."

"Oohhh, I've never heard of Frisco. Is it nice?" Luke states, tilting his head.

"Yeah. It's small but great. There's a bunch of hiking trails....leading to beautiful mountains..."

"And I live in Tennessee. Not as cool, but.." Alayna chimes in.
