We walked in through the Back Gate and made our way to the Storage. We turned over our weapons, except the guns we were assigned for the day. I laid Edge against my shoulder.

"Alright, yeah, all the guns an-" Stefanie stopped as she saw Alek.

"This is Alek..." I sighed, "He's with my parent's group."

"Oh. Okay. As long as he's escorted." Stefanie smiled as Alek and I walked off. He was looking around as people walked by.

"Everyone's armed here?" He asked, concerned.

"Yep." I smiled. I turned and saw Audrey walking towards us. She slowed down as she realized who was walking with me.

"Holy shit..." She sighed as she walked up to me, "What the hell are you doing here?" She asked as she turned to him.

"I'm here on behalf of Lisa and Chris." He smirked.

"Of course. You would give us a reason not to blow your fucking head off." She rolled her eyes then walked away.

"Jade!" I turned as Elyas was running towards me.

"Yes?" I asked, blocking the sun away from my eyes.

"I need to talk to you." He glanced at Alek.

"You can talk in front of him." Alek stood there, impatiently.

"Well, I was thinking. You know, I'm not a follower. At all. I'm more of a leader. Put me on a team. Please. I get so restless staying in here." He sighed.

"Actually, Jed might need some help. So, go talk to him. I'm sure you two would make hell of a team." I smiled as I turned and started walking to my house. I saw Aysa leaned against my door. I rolled my eyes.

"Wow, you kept him around?" Alek chuckled. I stopped and turned to him.

"I don't think I've asked for a single one of your fucking opinions." I bit the inside of my lip, anxiously.

"At one point, that was all you cared about. MY opinions." He smiled.

"Shut the fuck up and keep walking before I fucking kill you." I turned and began walking to my house. I heard him start laughing as he caught up with me.

"You couldn't kill me no matter how hard you tried." He smirked as I turned to look at him. I tripped him with a legsweep then I took pressed Edge's head against his throat.

"Don't challenge that. I've thought about killing you multiple times." I pressed harder. I looked around. Lamar, Khalil, and Aysa all had their guns drawn. Alek smiled. I took Edge off his throat and began walking to my house again. I looked behind me to see Lamar and Khalil walking with Alek to the Front Gate. Aysa was walking towards me.

"What the fuck is he doing in here?" Aysa whispered as he walked up to me.

"He's here for my stepdad." I rolled my eyes.

"We got company!" I heard Lamar yell. I looked over to see a few cars pull up in front of the Front Gate. I rested Edge on my shoulder and walked over. As I reached Lamar, Khalil, and Alek, I looked out to see my stepdad and my mom get out of a car. They walked up to the gate.

"Well, hello." My stepdad, Chris, smiled.

"Hey, Jade." My mom, Lisa, waved.

"What do you all want?" I looked behind them to see a few more people get out of another car. And I felt nauseous. Gabrielle, Alek's girlfriend, walked up. I leaned over on Aysa and slowly removed the Glock out of the back of his pants, his other gun in the holster.
