(Alek's point of view)

I woke up randomly, looking over to the window. The sun was rising.

"Fuck..." I mumbled. I looked down at Jade, who fell asleep with her head on my chest. I was worried about her. I walked in on her having a full conversation with herself. She thought she was talking to her brother, who was not there. I sighed then kissed her forehead. She fluttered her eyes open, "Good morning," I smiled at her. She groaned, rolled over, then placed a pillow over her head. I chuckled and slid out of bed. I stretched then turned back to her, "Babe, I'm gonna go wake up the guys and get everything together for the run today." I pulled on a pair of my slim fit blue jeans, they were ripped at the knee on the left leg. I pulled on a gray wife beater, then laced up my boots. I grab my gun off of Jade's dresser, and put it in the back of my pants. I walk over and pull the pillow off her head, kissing her forehead, then I walk out the house. I make my way over to storage and notice that Lamar and Khalil are walking over as well.

"Morning, guys." I smile.

"Hey, General." Lamar chuckles.

"I get it. Because his last name is Patton." Khalil started to laugh. I shook my head and sighed.

"Never heard that one before." I rolled my eyes, jokingly. We all made our way to Storage. Khalil took a key out of his pocket and unlocked the door. He turned to me.

"Stef runs this, but since I'm head of infantry, I got this little baby." He holds up the key and smiles. I step in and there's metal racks filled with guns, that are labeled, ammo, and more.

"When you get anything, check it out." Lamar says grabbing an m4.

"Check out?" I ask, confused. Khalil hands me a notebook.

"Write down your name, what you're taking, and ETA on when you'll bring it back." I walk over and smirk at the sight of a TEC-9.

"Has Jade seen this yet?" I smile, picking it up.

"No, she hasn't. Why?" Khalil asked.

"You got rounds for this?" I turn to him, "And is there a sawed off?" Lamar hands me the rounds and the sawed off.

"Go crazy, kid." He smiles. He grabs the notebook and writes down everything we've been taking today.

"Where are the others?" I asked, writing my name and everything down.

"Sleeping. We wake them up last minute." Khalil chuckled.

"Not morning people," Lamar smiled, then turned to me, "You got everything?"

"Yeah," I smiled back. We all made our way to Tyler and Nick's trailer. Khalil walked in, and invited us in as well. We all set the bags of everything we needed, and our guns on the ground.

"Wake up, lazy motherfuckers." Khalil said, walking down the hall, banging on doors.

"Fuckkk offffff." I heard Tyler groan from one of the rooms. Lamar chuckled.

"He's never gonna change." He shook his head, walking and sitting on the couch. I smirked and sat on the ottoman that was set off from the couch.

"So. How long is this trip?" Nick came in the room, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.

"About 2 hours without any trouble or stops. But, I expect some road troubles and maybe stopping here and there. Jade said it wouldn't surprise her if it was a 2 day trip." I shrugged my shoulders.

"You're driving right?" Lamar asked. I nodded.

"Good. You and Lamar in the front of the van, us in the back." Khalil smiled. He turned and looked and noticed that Tyler wasn't out here yet. He rolled his eyes and walked down the hall. I leaned over so I could peek down said hall. Khalil was banging the door. Lamar, Nick, and I began to laugh. We all heard Tyler groan with dissatisfaction.
