Dear Diary,
I think today was as good as it could get. The court hearing was good. Those Socs, Randy and Cherry, they seemed almost to be rooting for our team, if you know what I mean. When Darry and I got called up, we got asked a few questions, which we answered no problem. Then the judge asked us if Dally was our friend, and I felt like I was sentencing Ponyboy to death when I said yes. When Ponyboy got called, they didn't even ask him anything about Bob, the Soc that got killed. All he was asked was stupid stuff, like his grades, which were awesome, and if he liked living with us, obviously yes. The court said Ponyboy wasn't guilty, and that he and I could keep on living with Darry. We just got back from it, though, so the day's not over yet. I'll talk to you later, Steve and I got work again.
