Yami's P.O.V.

It was the morning after our celebration and my head hurt like Gatelderia. (A/N haha! See what I did there!) I think a firework hit me in the head and I was evacuated to safety, but honestly I don't remember. But it does explain why there is a bqndage around my head.

Anyway, Yugi and I cuddled for a bit, because we had a bit of time before the rest woke up. So Yugi filled me in on the details of the forest.

"When I came to get Heba and Atemu after the war, I had to pass through The Forest of Memories, or Letiros. It was emotionally scarring, especially after the war. Anyway, te first person to enter the first clearing will have their life played back through the projection of the woods. It's a bit creepy. Anyway, I will enter first, and we are going to look for he gem in there," Yugi said. I interrupted as soon as we are searching in the forest.

"That doean't make sense. Atem said ' Yellow can be seen, just by looking up on high," I said. Yugi smiled.

"Since Atem thinks of himself as muschevious, he always adds a trick verse in his riddles. By looking at the original manuscript-" he pulled out an old scroll. "You can see that it was enchanted so humans see it differently," Yugi said patiently.

I glanced down at the paper skeptical. And then I double-taked. There was a thin veneer over the actual words written underneath. They read 'Yellow can be found in the memories of sky'. I looked at Yugi.

"I introduced myself accidently as Sky, so for the next three years all he could call me was sky. It was actually embarassing. He somethimes brings it up as a joke," Yugi explained. I nodded.

"So all we have to do is to look through your memories, and we will find Triturn?" I asked. It seemed too easy. He shook his head.

"Actually, it is awarded to you after you survive the forest," he said, and I just shook my head in disbelief. It was easier now than it was before. But it seemed that Yugi didn't think so. Oh well.

"Anyway, it is a challenge because I am going to see the life I had before I came down to Earth. It is an emotionally scarring task. And I can only bring one person in with me. That means the rest have to stay out and go around," He said. Okay, so it was a bit more difficult than I thought, but not extremely unachievable. So... that's good, right?

"I want to bring you inside with me. I just...do. So, will you come with me?" He asked, looking up at me. His beautiful amethyst eyes were bright and pleading, a few tears starting in the eyes. He didn't need to plead with me. I already was going to say yes.

"Sure!" I said, and the tears disappeared. I smiled. And he did too. I love it when he smiled.

"I just have to tell the rest of the group," Yugi said, face now grim. He looked over at the group of the tents set up by the tree line. I smiled down at him. He lowered his gaze to the ring on his finger, and I saw a smile touch his face.

Time Skip Brought to you by Yugi-ohs. They're Yugilicious.

Yugi had just finished telling the others his plans. And surprisingly, no one argued. They all just gave me knowing looks. I didn't like it.

"Okay!" Yugi said, clearing the air. And now they started to pack up.

So, this is fun. I like writing. It makes me happy. And I can publish it whenever I want in the day if I have it done! So Yay! Vote and Comment.
