Legend of the pure hearts

Chapter 1

I woke up quickly. I was just about to get out of bed when I feel something warm and slightly damp up against my ribs. Pulling the covers up, I see a small blue creature with orange fins on its mouth and one on its head next to me. "Mudkip!" I say waking the little Pokémon up. "Mud?" He says curiously cocking his head. I laugh and pick him up in my arms before getting dressed. I put on blue short sleeve shirt and long pants along with my black combat boots. I brush my brown pixie cut hair before making sure my sword is on my belt in its brown sheath and head out of my bedroom carrying Mudkip. I go down to the kitchen, place him on the floor, and start some toast. I need to have a quick but healthy breakfast before I train. I grab a banana out of the fruit bowl then I hear a sound behind me of someone running into the kitchen but I know who it is before I turn. I turn around to see a blue hedgehog with green eyes, like mine, in the kitchen.
"Morning Rhion!" He said.
I sigh. "Sonic, what are you-"
"Shh," I'm cut of and he grabs a banana before quickly munching it down. Placing the peel in between the door, he places a finger to his lip before hiding behind the it. Before I can ask what he was doing, a orange fox with blue eyes runs in and slips on the peel. "SONIC!" He yells and I can't help but laugh. Sonic comes out in front of the door laughing to help his friend up. "Come Tails, that was hilarious. Even Rhion laughed at that one." It was true I could be very serious sometimes but that prank was slapstick comedy. Whipping banana residue of of him with his one of his two tails he pointed at Sonic before saying, "you better watch out for a prank coming your way." They had a prank war constantly on each other.
"Ok you pranksters," I say, "time for breakfast." As soon as I said that a black creature comes in. Black fur and yellow rings on its fur and ears sticking up, it was a beautiful Pokémon. Tails wrapped his arms around it. I grab some Pokémon food out of the fridge for Mudkip and Umbreon, Tails's Pokémon. I eat fairly quickly before heading down to the training room with Mudkip. We lived together in a large facility with others. Our home had a built in training room where I went every day to practice and stay in shape for battles. Outside, there's always snow and a hill steep enough to go snowboarding or skiing. There's also a place where you can ice skate. All in all, it's big and cozy. In the training room, there are training dummies set up, punching bags, targets for practicing archery, bars in the air for gymnastics, a rock wall, a race track, and a pool. Taking my short sword out of my sheath, I admire it for a second. It was kind of curved with a flat black handle and a fang like end. I walk up to the training dummies and close my eyes for a second. Taking a deep breath, I charge at the dummies. I stab, slash and and do some combinations my teacher taught me. When I'm done, the dummy is absolutely destroyed. It's a magic dummy so it regenerates to its original state. I hear clapping behind me. Turning around I see a young imp like girl, her face pale, almost blue and her chest the same way. The rest of her body is black with her arms and legs having some strange green symbols. Her left eye is covered by a helmet she always wears, her right a sickly yellow color instead of white. "Well, I'm impressed," she said for once not being snarky. "Thanks Midna," I say. She laughed for a sec before heading over to another dummy. A orange hand comes out of her helmet and forms a black and green ball. She throws it at one dummy and it got absolutely destroyed. "Show off," I say playfully. We had a running competition on who could take out the most dummies. I lined up 5 dummies in a row before focusing on my magic. I unleashed a powerful water blast that took out all 5 of the dummies at once. Midna was speechless for a sec. "Ok," she said, "you win." I smiled before moving to grab my water bottle. Usually I was fine with using my water magic, but that had been a particularly powerful blast and I needed a break. We all had different combat techniques. Midna used solely magic but as she's always done that, she doesn't get tired easily unless she wears herself out. I used a combination of sword fighting and water magic. Tails used his tails but also liked to set up traps our enemies always set of. Sonic used his famous spin attack which was quick and efficient but also used stuff Tails made for him. Our friend, Bowser Jr. liked to use his spiky shell for attacking and his claws. Another of our friends, Moggle, liked to use magic but used them like weapons (like in Doctor Strange). Finally our friend Ortinsia attacked long range with her bow, and was our healer with her harp. All in all we had a very different but strong team. At that moment, Ortinsia ran in. She was a black cat usually wearing a light grey top and pants similar to my outfit except light gray. "Rhion, Midna come quick!" She shouted. "What's up?" I asked. "They're here and are attacking near the forest."
