I held Midna gently in my arms as Lumi led us through a cave. I had wrapped a jacket around her to make sure her body temperature didn't get any lower. Behind me, Asriel shivered and Tails wrapped one of his tails around him. How did you get the mine right there without them noticing? I asked Tails telepathically. I heard him laugh in my head. Let's just say, I'm a sly fox. I had to hold in a strong chuckle. We entered what looked like a castle. It was completely made of ice with a staircase going up and another door on our right.
"This way of please," Lumi said, the first time she spoke since the mountain.
"Umm, where is Kyrem?" Asriel asked. He hadn't followed us from the mountain, saying that he would meet us there.
"He's in the library where we are going," Lumi answered. "Come." She led us through the right door. Inside, was a library. Strangely, there was a fire place with a fire started. The room wasn't made out of ice, it was about 4 times smaller than ours.
"How is this possible?" Tails asked suspiciously. "Shouldn't the whole castle be gone with this warm of a room?" A laughter came from the left side of the room.
"Magic keeps the warmth in this room." We turned towards the speaker. He was slightly taller than me with grey short hair, and yellow eyes. He wore what looked like a butler outfit with the end looking torn off.
"Master," Lumi said bowing.
"W-wait what?" Tails asked.
"K-Kyrem?" Asriel asked. I took a step back.
"H-how?" He laughed once again.
"Humans are always surprised at my human form." We must have gave him an odd look because he smiled.
"I'll explain. Please sit." He gestured over to the three couches. I sat on the middle, placing Midna down on a pillows. Lumi grabbed us some tea. As Kyrem spoke, I tried to force feed Midna.
"You see," Kyrem continued, "each legendary Pokémon has the ability to transform into a human form. We can change our gender, what we wear, even our personality changes a bit. We usually have one form like this that is more normal for you humans, and one for fighting with armor included."
"Excuse me for interrupting," Tails spoke, "I've heard each Pokémon has a special weapon."
"Indeed, I don't want to bring it out right now but I do have an ice rapier. Lumi uses it quite a lot."
"Lumi mentioned she is your servant. What dose that mean?" I asked.
"Each of us are allowed to pick a special human who we would like to be a servant. These special humans can gain powers similar to our own. Usually, we chose them when they are born. Most servants go through their entire lives without even knowing. However, some do find out."
"What happens when one dies?" Tails asked moving over to the couch to help me force feed Midna tea.
"That is always hard. If a servant dies too early, its master usually chooses another soon after. Actually, there is one exception. Xerneas and Yveltal. Both of their servants died around the same time, yet it took them centuries to chose another." He looked at Midna. "Now, on to the fate of your friend. I would kill her right now being a Twili. However, I've gotten a message from another legendary Pokémon. Their orders are to not kill their servant."
I nearly spit out my tea. "She's a servant of a legendary?!"
"Indeed. I don't want to start a full on war between us, so I won't kill them. We already are full with this war."
"Can you tell us who she's the servant of?" Asriel asked.
"I cannot. However, I can tell you this. All of you are servants of my brethren. You, Asriel, are the opposite of Midna. Now then, if you two don't mind, I would like to speak to Rhion alone." Tails and Asriel nodded. Azzy grabbed Midna and left along side Lumi.
"What did you want to talk to me about, Master Kyrem?"
"Just Kyrem is fine. I wanted to speak with you about your piece. The triforce of courage."
